So, 2, (being a sophisticate type), leaning on the piling, "do you come here often?" (the floating dock moves, tossing me onto the wood, where I get a splinter and bruise)

Trying to act natural and not too shocked. Would not want the pride to be bruised too. Ummmm....pondering (I do that a lot) if I should offer help with the splinter?

Well, tis important to keep your tools in pristine working order. Often, keeping the surplus accumulations off enhances performance.

Well, as far as removing the surplus 100%, I will have to take your word for it. I can only claim I am knowledgeable to a level of about 70% or so. So far it has seemed to be enough, near as I can tell anyway.

I knew I should have cleaned the place up last night. I thought for sure I would be here before anyone else this morning....it being 5:30 am and all!!

(picks up a little....wipes off the table, ya know because of the food and drinks last night, yeah....ummm the food and dinks...non-chalantly picks up black thong and shoves it deep in pocket....whew, I am sure no one will ever be the wiser)

*Raises hand* Alright, I'm hooked...line and sinker. Growing up and living in WI it's fresh water fishing. We have our choices, from sunfish, crappies or perch to bass, walleye or that ornery old muskie. Then there's the fly fishing (something I haven't tried) for brookies and browns. Go to the big Pond and it's salmon and trout. A virtual fisherman's paradise.

Summer or winter (yep, the ice towns) I love to wet a line. Meet a complete stranger, doesn't matter if he's an Executive or laborer, if he's (she's) got a fishin' rod, there is comraderie.

Hi everyone! I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and I love to fish!! Perch fishing is my favorite because of the fight that the little buggers put up for no bigger than they are. Besides they are pretty tasty,too!
Like 69forever..we have a lot of icefishing up here too! Sure wish our lakes and streams would thaw out though. The rate this winter has gone,it will be August before that happens!

It's lots of fun,but you have to bring along your own antifreeze! Peppermint schanapps and Mountain works very well and even looks like antifreeze!
