Xavier.
The answerphone tape whirred back and I listened to Yvonne's voice. "Sweety, I missed you. Would you like to come to a party? My place, just the usual crowd and their new - acquaintances. They need you to show them just how much money you can make them; you are sooo good with figures..." she giggled and mentioned what she would like doing with her own figure. I smiled, feeling a twinge of arousal which made me almost miss the fact that her party was the same day as Albury's medieval soiree. I put the matter to the back of my mind for a while; I might be able to ignore her and pretend I hadn't got the message if she wasn't in one of her domme moods.
I settled back in my leather chair and looked at the screens in front of me. It was going to be a very busy few hours.
****
"Darling, where have you got to? I really do need you to be at my
party today. I do hope you are well. Perhaps I should send my people round to check on you?"
I pressed stop on the tape and checked the time Yvonne had left the message. Only an hour ago; she hadn't left anything before that as I worked round the clock setting everything up; she didn't seem to be suspicious.
I checked my watch as I sat in front of the computer screen -
hopefully for the last time in the flat. Everything was in place;
even if they came in and destroyed everything here, nothing should be able to stop the chain of events once they were initiated. I rubbed my chin, deliberately unshaven, and looked at the message box on the screen.
Begin? Y / N
I pressed Y.
I gathered up the few things that I needed and made my way out onto the road; I didn't trust the car park. Looking around, I approached my Jaguar and checked the back seat in paranoid fashion as I approached. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary as I pulled out and drove away.
The entrance to Albury Villa was deserted when I arrived and pressed the intercom to gain access. The signs on the long drive up to the house instructed visitors to go to the Lodge before proceeding. There I found a bored young woman giving out instructions concerning behaviour towards slaves and taking down details about me - "security purposes," she intoned monosyllabically.
"Today's theme is medieval, do you have a costume?"
I showed her my monk's habit and she indicated a changing room and gave me receptacles for my clothes and personal effects. "From here, you will be in character. Enjoy your day in Medieval England." She picked up her copy of Heat magazine as I walked through to get changed.
