Yesterday I took a break after talking with you and went running. There's this park next to my house, it's woods that are 130 years old (A civil war site) so the trees are tall and thick and overgrown with vines. There are gravel trails throughout that wind down declivities, along streams and up and around hills. Pears and cherries grow native here and some are interspersed here and there. The pears and cherries have their white and pink flowers now, but none of the others have gotten their spring leaves yet. The sun shines through now more than it will later when the canopy of leaves fills in.

As I came running around a bend, two yellow and black butterflies crossed my path. They passed from shade to sunshine and it was like their wings were lit by bright bulb within. They were darting back and forth from each other, one moment close, the next a little distant, but they never flew far apart. They led me down the path and I was happy to join. Isn't spring grand? After a few moments though, they darted off in another direction and left me to make my way home and back to RL.

This morning, just a few moments ago, I went running again. I followed the same wooded path. As I turned along the same bend, I saw a single butterfly on the ground in front of me. As she saw me, she took off from the ground. She went in the same direction that I was headed like she was a swimmer and I was a giant Pacific wave. She moved faster and faster and higher and higher as I approached. She got even with my shoulders then, with one more push of her wings, she flitted by my ear. I smiled as I went by, not slowing down, but still wondering what she was whispering to me

Gunner recieves pm's...people think Mel is Gunner's wife in RL

Gunner sets record straight, but does add that Mel is very beautiful.
