Now is the first time the subsidies have been challenged. If there are subsidies provided again, this time they must be in a stand alone bill. Not tacked on to government spending, the budget or anything. They were conspicuously removed from the BBB and nobody seemed to care.
This fuzzy funding of the failed Obamacare ACA has to stop. November enrollment is coming soon. I am not looking forward to paying 900 a month for insurance next year, but it will likely take that long for them to come up with a replacement for the failed ACA. The Covid bill that funds the subsidy this year paid 82% of my monthly premiums.
As is republicans have not been tasked with replacing the liberal failed policy. Republicans have eliminated funding the ACA. With that elimination they have revealed the ACA is Obama’s version of universal health care which is also a proven failure in Canada.
