As Cassidy pulled the door to her hotel room shut behind her, she took a deep breath and headed down the hallway toward the nearest set of elevators. It was the last night of her business trip. In the morning she would be packing up and flying out of Las Vegas, heading home. Four days in Vegas and she'd barely seen anything except the company's corporate offices, and her own hotel room. After spending an hour pacing her hotel room, she'd finally convinced herself that she needed to get out and do something...anything. After throwing on a thin, white sweater and a pair of dressy black jeans, she decided to head down to the hotel bar and have a few drinks.

As she road the elevator down to the first floor, Cassidy laughed at herself for being nervous. Why should she be nervous about having a couple of drinks in a bar? Her boyfriend back home certainly wouldn't begrudge her one night out of the hotel room. As jealous as he usually was, he'd probably already imagined much worse. The truth was, the butterflies she felt in her stomach were born of guilt; guilt because whether she wanted to admit it or not, Cassidy wanted to let loose. She wanted something to happen. She wanted to meet someone.

Stepping out of the elevator, the blond headed to her left toward the bars and casinos. It was Friday night, and the hotel was much more crowded than it had been on the previous nights. As she made her way into the bar, she found herself checking out the other patrons, trying to find someone that caught her eye. There were some hot looking guys, but most appeared to be with someone.

Deciding she would need a couple of drinks before she could even think of hitting on someone, Cassidy made her way to the bar and took a seat.

"Can I get an LIT?" she asked, raising her voice enough for the bartender to hear her.

A Vegas local Rich stood behind the bar. Jaded by a life time in the city of fire and lights he felt at home behind the bar. The so called quickest hands in the west mad a living off of convention seat fillers and cubicle jockeys. He could see her from a mile away slowly making her way to the bar.
Most of the time he would think of a girl like this as nothing more then a pretty meal ticket but she was different. So timid yet a glimpse of confidence he was interested to say the least. "Hey my name is Rich I will be serving you tonight what can j get you?"

When Cassidy looked up at the bartender who had approached from her right, she was pleasantly surprised. He was tall and handsome and she found herself flashing him a smile, "Hey, Rich. I'm Cassidy and I'll take a Long Island Iced Tea when you get a chance." She lifted her purse up and say it in front of her, slipping a hand in and pulling her credit card out.

"You can start a tab, too," she added, sliding the card across the bar toward him, letting her hand brush innocently against his as he reached forward. She watched him as he turned away and walked back to the nearby register. Rich was definitely the most interesting looking man in the bar, and she found herself watching him as he worked. When he wasn't looking, she unbuttoned the top button on her sweater, letting it hang open enough that the edge of her black lace bra was visible.
