That's always the trickiest bit for me. I can say hi and be nice, even funny occaisionally. And before I know it I'm a friend and she'll be really betrayed if I say anything.

Or I can go up and make a move early on, in which case I can get told to fuck off.

9 times out of 10, I'd go for the friendship, it may be better in the long run.
