When I was a kid, I used to think mounties were hot. I thought they had the coolest uniforms.

German soldiers always had cool uniforms too. Germans always have known how to do militarism right.

That's funny, I don't like German uniforms very much. I always liked US-marines uniforms, you know the ones they wear for official events. (lacking the right word).

I think a lot of us uniforms are cool, I only hate those white navy thingies.

For some reason I also love the WWII GI uniforms.

By the way, a woman in an american uniform is DAMN sexy !!!!

But our guys in the service ( pretty much all branches) well They are all Soooo Good lookin in there uniforms.. What better turn on could you ask for a man in uniform, fighting for his country..

Those cop uniforms ( brother is a cop~ excluding him, lol) wow they are lil Hottiesssss too..

I also heard Italians have the best uniforms. I believe Armani designed for the armed forces.

For me, on women, it's cheerleaders or Catholic school girls. The "adult" uniforms always seem to be matronly (meter maids, WACs), sexless (MD scrubs), or slutty (Hooters). Nurses scare me, owing to a proctological exam I once endured where the assisting nurse wore white spike heals. If they had put a latex hood over my head and straws in my nostrils, I would not have been more humiliated. "Relax! Arch your back! This is going to be a little cold.... Okay. Relax!....."

My daughter finds uniforms a turn-off. So there you are. For me, I prefer a person who dresses themselves to suit themselves, with flair and taste, or funk and flash in season.

Most uniformed people are little better than indentured cogs in a machine. Uniforms, for me, are to spread the blame: "It was a guy in a uniform" means it could have been any one of hundreds, or thousands. You avoid responsibility for whatever you are doing by your anonymity. Like the one blank round in a firing squad's rifles.

Workplaces requiring uniforms pump up the sense of control and power of the boss, all those ants there to do his bidding. I have little but negative connotations for them. I also have never had any desire whatsoever to appear the same as everyone else or to depress my individuality, whether to avoid blame or for any other reason.

If a woman is in uniform she should get a backbone and do something else. Ditto for a man, imho.

Even those here who are picking out hot ones have had to go to cowboys and such, kilts-- these are not uniforms.

I like dog tags.

Started when I was about 12 or 15 or something and saw 'Biloxie Blues' the part where the guys went to see that hooker- just blossomed from there.

Pearl Harbor has some good sexy uniform (and dog tag) scenes.
