As I said on the Congrats thread, mega-congratulations and thanks to the big five for giving those of us who hang-out at the AH but didn't enter a chance to bask in your reflected glory.

So when is the Nude Day Support thread going up? After the last few days around here, I need something to keep my mind occupied.

...there is the AH Last Place (tm) Contest to be decided.

I feel rather embarrassed about mentioning it this time. I have well and truly blotted my Last Place copybook with How To.

However, Og's embarrassment must take second place to the urgent business of awarding the invaluable (=no prize money, only fame) Last Place Award for the How To Contest.

Anyone who wants to declare their rating publicly can be considered.

Rules for Last Place contest.

Order for coming last:

Lowest voted rating for a genuine attempt at an essay multiplied by number of votes if less than 25 divided by 25.

So - if rating is 3.00 but only 12 votes the score would be

3.00 x 12 / 25 = 1.44

If rating is 3.00 but more than 25 votes, the rating stays the same.

I suggest ignoring number of reads except as a tie breaker when least number of reads would *win*.

Since the 'winner' actually wins nothing, it is pointless to cheat. To enter, all you have to do is declare your rating and votes at the time the real contest is decided.

For the last place contest, 1 votes are very valuable and 5s are bombs.

Mine looped the loop. Ended at 4.68 / 25 votes / 17PC's and 12 e-mails (from different people than those who PC'd ) So more feedback than votes, and only one negative PC. Good job it was humour.

I can think of a few suitable pieces of advice from such a book e.g.
