hosted a friend all weekend and pretty sure he got flashes of my panties throughout his visit - the thought of him knowing piques my imagination but i wouldn't act on anything or at least not of my own initiative, anyways here's a work-day pic after getting home from my lunch walk

I finally got back to finish this thread. I love your pictures and your comments on what you do and see in a day has gotten me engaging in my own life a little more.

the tree down the street has turned a pretty orange with half red i was told; it has been nice to open the windows at night and hear the freight trains rumbling along the tracks down the street and the planes soaring above the house as they taxi in & out along the nearest arterial state hwy; the northern lights briefly glimmered above the peaks of our neighbor's homes; it seems like a good night to light a fire and sit under stars and share some beers

it'll be 17 years tomorrow and i'm not sure that we're in any better of a place, so much has changed & yet so little & we're all still fighting & i don't know that you'd be happy or that i'm really happy about the past 17 years but i think i see you in strangers & friends & the people that you'll never meet & even the ones that i'll never meet & that gives me hope & i hope that the world will be better tomorrow, or the day after or in a couple of years because i don't want to lose that idea of hope, of you, & i'd like for my daughter to have a world that she can flourish in & & & &

i loved you today, just like every other day

got snipped earlier this week and not always sure what i should feel about that but it feels good; though i think i've got a head cold or something because there's some fuzz going through my brain today & i've been watching everything heal and waiting for the stitches to fall out and i probably should have done this earlier in the year since i've got a kid that is should be picking up that might weigh too much per the doctor's instructions, now, and i captured some images of what it all looks like but not sure that that is something that people want to see so i think i'll just keep those private and it's snowing and it's good though it's cold in the house and the cats keep snuggling and i have to keep reminding them not to step on my sack. anyways, yikes!

Thanks, Tali! It's been a weird couple of days but should be good as new by next Friday at least that's what the doctor said. I don't really feel any different except for some slight comfortableness sooo yay?

previous owners of our home stopped by today out of the blue. we've never met previously but their kids wanted to see the space so i let them in which felt weird especially since it's a bit of a mess and i'm trying to work & distract myself but i guess sometimes you just let strangers into your home? anyways, that was weird and it's sort of ruined the mood for the day

feeling all sorts of pressure and stress about money since we just re-did our porch and daycare bills/mortgage/car payment are all due in short order but it's nice to sit here and browse and chat and forget about it all for a bit

I've often wanted to go in the house I grew up in, it's on the way to our local beach, so when ever we go there, I think about it, but usually just do the 'drive by', lol.
