Dante went to prison for a crime he didn't do, every inmate there says the that very line... But his was different. One day he got a court hearing letter, and went there. Willing to pay the fine, but his lawyer told him to take the settlement, which was 10 years in jail. Not knowing it, he agreed.
Right off the bat he knew something was weird with this place. More than 75% of the guards here were female. Where most (if not all) the prisoners were males. There weren't enough inmates to give everyone a buddy, so Dante was by himself.
5 years into his sentence he met Michaela. She was the most beautiful person he met in his life. He wished she could have met him outside of his perdicument, they could maybe have a chance, but here any now... There was no chance. Or so he thought.
Dante grew on Michaela as much as the opposite. She was the only person that cut Dante some slack. She would send him back to his cell only to talk with him, and give him some writing material or something. Michaela slowly found herself going to work just to see Dante. She knew it was wrong, a guard and an inmate, but something felt right.
Dante learned Michaela's schedule, she didn't talk to him today but when she went around telling everyone, "lights out", she stopped at dante's door.
