Willy had been in the window seat when the engine blew. He had been sleeping. The flight was scheduled to be a long one. And he had known that he had to be fresh for his meeting. The client or so he had hoped for client was interested in farm equiptment for several large farms they owned around the country.

That had been before the crash. Willy woke with the salty water lapping at his feet. He is laying on a gray sandy beach. The clouds are a chalky gray. His wet clothes cling to him and he rolls over in the sand. The tree line is just a few feet away. He gets to his feet and staggers toward the trees.

Willy reaches the tall line of swaying palms. He looks around and sees no one.
"Am I the only one here?"
