After spending some time wadding through threads on the GB earlier this week, I find the folks who post here to have more civility and acceptance than anywhere else. I was amazed and appalled by the lack of ethics and the mean spiritedness of so many over there. A few of them, I actually had a degree of regard for. What a disappointment. And for them to actually conspire together to attack and defame other posters... makes one wonder what their real lives (if in fact, they have one) is like.

I have to laugh at those "others" who think it is WE who need therapy.

So you are correct MissTaken, the answer is Therapy and many "over there," definately need it.

Believe me, even many of us don't understand/condone/tolerate this.

Believe me, even many of us don't understand/condone/tolerate this.

And believe me, I don't paint with a broad paintbrush. I have several friends who post to the GB. But the tenor of the GB is much harsher and there is less civility there than there is here.

No one can disagree with that. It's the reason I almost never post there. My skin just isn't thick enough.

I agree with you 100%. I just find it extreemely sad when said members are not banned from the boards in spite of overwhelming evidence that the bad manners of the said individual are not going to change, and he will continue to prey upon the weak and compasionate, and attempt to hurt verbaly those who see through his guise.

People like him make me ashamed to call myself a veteran, as the taint that he emits sullies the reputation of those much more worthy to carry that honor.

Mostly Sunny and 79 degrees F down here. How about up there in Canada?

I'm not in Canada anymore (but I bet it is colder there than here LOL), but in Indiana it is a nice, clear 68 degrees F. Have a few windows open here and there to let the kitties look out and let some fresh air in...love the fall..my favorite season!

It is also the season for Pumpkin Pie Blizzards at Dairy QUeen...MMMMMmmmMMMM!!!!
