Master is ill, peritonitis again :( Hoping we have caught it early, He refused to be admitted to hospital and we are doing antibiotic treatment at home......fills and drains every 6 hours.......been having trouble getting it in and out, what should take 30-40 minutes has been taking over 90.....I am so tired

Thank you sweet girl :rose: We've been through this before and the hospital is only a few minutes drive away if we need to go there, hopefully not because the beds play havoc with His back :rolleyes:

Though I did tentatively suggest that He go just for a couple of days because He's in quite a bit of pain and they have morphine there, but He refused - the withdrawal from it is not a pleasant thing :(
 
I hate hospitals too... Too bad about the pain though. I can see where he'd not want to mess with withdrawal symptoms. They're nasty.
 
*hugs* I can't say I blame him. I'm finally off my morphine, and I sure don't want to have to do that again. And hospital beds are EVIL. I think that they consulted with Satan about the best beds to put in hospitals.

Master Gil agrees with you 1000% (and that's not a typo).....and what with the crappy food and the patient in the next bed who was away with the fairies and attacked a couple of the nurses while He was there last time, we can certainly do without having to go there again unless it's absolutely necessary :rolleyes:

I had a nap this afternoon and I'm feeling better, the fills and drains have been going a bit quicker, and Master even feels like a little bit to eat tonight, so fingers crossed things will improve soon.

Oh, witcha... that phrase ("oral English exam") lends itself to soooo many possible tweakings... but it's morning and I actually feel pretty good despite lousy sleep and the horrendous amount of work I need to do, so I'll just say:
