It will pass...would be so much better if we had a bathtub to soak in and if he didn't have an open wound on his hand which prevents him rubbing heat rub into my back...lol, than again, it took him a day to even respond to the fact I had fallen down the stairs, so heat rub which he hates the smell of probably might have been a stretch to beg for. :p My pussycats have been smothering me with love and cuddles though so that is more than nice. :cathappy:

A heating pad might help some, as long as the swelling's gotten as swollen as it's going to get, since heat does aggravate swelling. Barring that, you could try wrapping yourself in a big blanket while you're relaxing. Just that little bit of warmth can ease sore muscles a bit. I do these things for myself when I take tumbles off my horses, which happens from time to time, unfortunately. :rolleyes:

Thanks...I have a heat lamp which I used and mostly I do not feel it too much until I try to lift something or move in a way which requires using muscles I don't use most of the day. I am surprised my hand isn't more painful given the colour of it. LOL, if I wasn't so tough I would be getting more attention from him instead of him just assuming I can cope as per usual with everything, so it is my own fault for not being used to filling the delicate flower role...could do with some extra attention and it better happen tomorrow or he might be in real trouble. ;) Don't think I need to worry though as he is playing the 'I can't remember any reason why tomorrow should be special' game. :D

You know what? You have got it so easy. I don't want to hear any bitching, because honestly everything is fine for you. Don't you realize you have it so easy? Don't you realize other people are not as well off in that respect as you?
