What do you mean probably? I can be gentle, or firm, and I wash my hands...
:D

I'm persnickity about who touches my back. I have scoliosis (almost a thirty degree curve the last time I was xrayed), and the spiney things on my vertebrae are very very VERY sensitive, any touch at all hurts. Plus I get self conscious, I don't like people to look at my back. I know, in my head, that you can't see the curve if you dont' know what your'e looking for. But my heart says that it's hideous and ugly, and I don't like it to be looked at.

Aww Gracie, I'd be very very gentle. My sister had scoliosis and wore a horrible Medieval torture device inspired back brace. That thing was awful. It was super hard plastic, and she could barely bend in it...

yeah, I've seen them. They didn't realize I had scoliosis till I was already full grown, so nothing could be done. Why didn't they realize it? Cause when I told my mom my back was hurting she didn't believe me. Three years of back pain, and she didn't believe me till one day my back seized up and I couldn't walk. No, I don't ahve any resentments about that, not at all.

I'm so sorry Graceanne. Kind of sounds like my mother come to think of it. I was expected to be the strong one...

Thankfully I don't have anything that can't be fixed with some minor elective surgery. You know, like oddly broken fingers that were never set. A broken nose that didn't heal quite right, etc etc.

She did take me to the hospital once though. That was a good thing, I almost ruptured my spleen.

Luckily I'm an overly cautious person. Until this last year (ish) I'd never broken anything, including fingers and toes. Other than my cesarians and some oral surgery I've never had stitches. Until this year I'd never had strep, and until 2001 I'd never even had bronchitis.

Yeah, I just break stuff. I don't normally get ill. Never had strep either.

I'm seriously taking a bath. Maybe I'll shave my legs or something while I'm at it. ;)

I’ve got scoliosis as well. But fortunately I haven’t got any problems with it.
Are you doing any sport or special exercises for your spine? I used to have a bit of pain but swimming regular and doing some special back exercises really helped. Because of the curve in your back you need more muscles in that area - a lack of muscles can cause pain.

My scoliosis was not properly diagnosed until I was 15. It was noticed before by a doctor but he just said there was something wrong with my back but as I was swimming all was fine. At that point it could have been improved a lot by back exercises. At least I got out of wearing those awful corsets this way.

I‘ve done a 3 week cure for it a few years ago (exercises all day). Some people’s backs truly looked shocking. But they often had more than 60°, some even had more than 100° and many had two curves. I am sure people who see you don’t realise that you have a scoliosis. Nobody has ever noticed mine (though I have more degrees than you).

I'm sorry Graceanne. That really stinks that your mom didn't believe you!! I hope you don't have too much pain because of it, and even though you're self conscious about it, I bet nobody can even notice.

I have scoliosis, too. In fact, both my sister and my dad have it, as well. I think it's much more common than people realize.

My scoliosis isn't noticeable unless I bend over like I'm trying to touch my toes, which is what we used to have to do once a year in PE to see if we had a curver or not. I don't have any pain from mine except every once and awhile underneath my shoulder blade and a little bit lower.

My poor dad is the one that got the short end of the stick with his scoliosis! I think he truly should've had surgery or worn a brace or something when he was a kid because he actually has a large hump now on the right side from his scoliosis. He has a lot of back pain as a result, too.

I think scoliosis is hereditary because his father had it, too. In fact, my dad now walks the same way my grandfather did when he was older. I guess the scoliosis makes one hip higher than the other, and the same with the shoulders so it causes a very distinctive posture.

Anyway, I hope your back feels better and that you find someone to give you a WONDERFUL massage!!! :rose:

I will join in with the group of you gals that have scolosis..So do I..Mine was so severe though that I had to have rods put in my back in 87 to straighten my spine..I got it from my papaw..so it is a heriditary disease..

Gotta Share

I've always heard that Ben Wah Balls were extremely erotic to use and decided to get some. Well, they came in and I can't believe I waited so long to get a set.

These are so amazing!

It's rather slow at work today and since I had them in my purse, I decided to play instead of waiting to try them out at home.

If you haven't tried them, do. The sensation is fantastic. I put them in in the bathroom and on the walk back to my desk, had to pause to keep from cumming.

Sitting at my desk the desire to cum is so much worse. I'm finding myself flexing in my seat just to keep them moving...and I want to cum so bad...

What delicious thoughts! Have fun!!

I have come into existence
Without knowing who or where you are
I have lived my life
Without venturing too far.
But then came a day
When our paths did cross
And neither of us anticipated
How much pain it could cause.
You reign over my dreams
And my waking hours are spent thinking of you You lull me to
existence
With loving words so real and true.
I crave your presence,
Your words that warm my soul
You affirm my being
With your voice that stirs my core.
I hear your voice in the wind
Feel you touch me in the rain
And in every silent moment
I hear you whispering my name.
The breeze sang love songs in my ear
As I watch the sun sink in the sea
And though it's too impossible to believe I feel as though you
are with
me.
With every breath I take
As the days and years wore on
I just want you to know my love is true
Until eternity has gone.
And even though we're not together
Though circumstances have brought us apart I know that when you
finally
come back, You'd still have that special place inside my
heart...
To my one and only I am sorry I didnt deserve the precious time for you to explain why and you just dissappeared trust me.. I will always care.. always

I'm going, dammit. I may be a lot of things, but a coward's not one of them.

Be attentive.

If your pyl is the most important person in your life, then treat her (or him) as such. Listen to her as though she's the most important person in your life. Don't constantly treat her like she's second best to every other person in the world and then wonder why she gets upset with you.

Random thoughts, by RH.
