I do not understand how my dog’s tangerine-sized brain works. It can be 15° out and she will nap on 12” of snow. Today she’s sprawled on our patio. That patio currently feels like a pizza stone. I think her tangerine is missing a few seeds.

Yeah, that was the name “Flexeril” - and I really wish I had known how potent it was before taking it.

I think I actually hurt my neck more than it was when I was on “Flexeril”, because I was so out of it that I didn’t / couldn’t keep up my physical therapy exercises properly.

Eventually (after a week or so) I said fuck it and stopped taking “Flexeril” and focused on the PT exercises. My neck injury progressed much better once I did that, and it ultimately seemed stronger than ever (I had a great physical therapist).

Maybe I’ll try the 1/4 “Flexeril” pill dosing if I ever get a serious muscle strain again. (Does the 1/4 pill dose still make you loopy???)

Definitely do a quarter dose, should you ever need it again.
I could function with that. If memory serves me right, I still had a good nap.

So, whilst we were mountain people for the last two weeks, we had a Porsche Macan. I dont know why i got it, thought it might be fun on those mountain roads. It was brand new, it had 1,500 miles on it. In my opinion, it was garbage. It was terrible for mountain driving. Extremely sluggish. Running through gears for downshifting was not a good thing. Terrible throttle response, i mean, 1987 Buick Skyhawk terrible.. I kinda miss that car.. Anyway, it did handle well, for a small suv. Of course, i need it while screaming down the side of a mountain, trying to use the engine to slow down, and hitting a 25 mph curve at 60.. Even in the big city, it left much to be desired.

Not usually a car guy, but i was so disappointed i needed to say something. When we flew back in, i got into the wifes cadillac and thought i was driving a rocket... Sad to leave our little cabin on the river, but happy to be home.

Now I have to find another place and I can't because NO ONE is taking new patience. Fucking cunt pickles! I wish I was a lawyer so I can sue them the being massive greedy pricks.

We are planning a winter vacation there soon. Im going to drag her to Eldora and ski! Nederland just bought back the mountain! Which is cool, it was a big deal when we were runnijg around town last week.

I really miss skiing. I did it every winter through my early 30s. I was pretty good (for an iowan), not so good for a local. But, i love doing it. Shes only skied once, that was at some iowa "ski resort". It's really just a long hill, but she strapped them on. Shes scared, but shes a very athletic person, so she'll do fine.

God fucking damn it! I just said i was happy to be home and i already want to go back...

Sometimes, dude, our happiness gives way to responsibility.. We made our choices and had our fun. Now we must pay the price. I know exactly how you feel. I too felt the same. Sometimes though, happiness can be taking care of others. The older we get, the more our perspectives change. What was once important, now seems foolish. What we wanted, turns into what we despise. Its funny how it all gets turned and twisted, shaken up and spit out. There is time to seek out who we really are and sometimes we surprise ourselves.

The Skidoo go hard. I really wanted to have a turn, but no. They’re for the resort workers. We’ve had a really great time. I love the snow. Hot showers, good food and card games by the fire. Lots of hotel sex too it’s been amazing.

I had a go at snowboarding. You can tell because I have bruises everywhere lol. But it’s fun. Fell down some pretty big hills

We’re heading back to Sydney and catch a flight tomorrow morning up to Queensland.
