The Isolated Blurt Thread XXXVII: You're Welcome, Fuckers

Garden is done, coop is cleaned. I feel positively decadent browsing Lit and thinking about the flowers I'm going to pick up from the Mennonite store. Mind you, not much to think about considering they only have petunias and alyssum. 🤷🏾‍♀️

lol

i'm sure there are ways, probably involving weedkillers but i don't think they'd be a great idea to use in the same place you're growing veggies

think of it as a free workout—no gyms required
Got that right! Lost ten lbs and toned right up. I gotta say, imo, I look pretty, pretty, pretty good!
anyone read the Georgette Heyer novels growing up (or ever)?
if you did, as i did as a young teen, and enjoyed them for their genre, it's safe to say you'll love Bridgerton (netflix)
I completely forgot about Heyer! Same, read them as a teen. 👍🏼

That's all?

I know that down south the plant stores have a crap variety of flowing plants. My neighbor's sis always came up in May to help her sis plant the flowers. She had two coolers for luggage that were modified to hold 6-pack and 4-pack trays of flowers that they would find at the local nurseries. She said there was no variety of plants in Ohio where she was from.

I feel like being messy af. Burning everything (metaphorically) to the ground.

It's a rinky dink Mennonite store not a nursery. I don't drive so I hoof it the 2km to the closest 'store'.
They expanded their selection to include verbena, impatients and begonias. And ground cherries. I love ground cherries.

I think I've slept most of the last 20 hours with a few short wake-ups here and there.
