Yes he knew but that doesn't mean he participated. Unless there are direct ties to the fraud/corruption, he gets a pass. This is called gaming the system and both parties know how it works and as long as the candidates/politicians get their cut via donations no one is going to do squat to upset that applecart.

Personally I think we need to strengthen the laws against public malfeasance. That would do a lot to curb this kind of thing and would eventually eliminate the career politicians infesting our government who live large on the laundered corruption cash.

Being an ideologically driven and compliant (NOT complicit) Governor isn't criminal.

About the only thing I can see, and it's a huge stretch, is that MAYBE there might be criminal liability under an "aiding and abetting a conspiracy to defraud the US" charge whereby Walz and a couple of others possibly could be indicted as a co-conspirators IF he and others encouraged and allowed the fraud to continue KNOWING it was fraud.

It's a very narrow possibility and highly unlikely to succeed without direct involvement by Walz and Company (D) in some actual manner.


I would like to see Newsom indicted on the same basis for his promoting of illegals to sign up for medicaid. He has direct involvement in encouraging and inciting illegal immigrants to violate Federal law KNOWING it's a violation of Federal law. That makes him an accomplice to the crime.

While I cannot say this is 100% true, I was told mods generally monitor the ampics forum/section...I interpreted that to mean the other sections were not exactly monitored much. Hence the racist slurs, insulting language and general shenanigans that happen in this thread as an example, are rarely enforced.

Doing these things aren't violations of the rules. In fact, the rules EXPLICITLY SAY that if you don't like the things someone posts, you can put them on ignore.
