Even though I had seen it months ago, I still watched it again last night. For a pilot it was very good. She pulled off playing Kara very well. I hope we get to see more of Dean Cain and Helen Slater as her adoptive parents down the road. I do have some negatives but that's mainly nitpicky. Overall a good starting point and hope to see them build on what they have satarted.

I would have loved for the pilot to be a little longer, but barring that they could have certainly slowed things down just a wee bit.

with me I wish the Crest was more the traditional S with the yellow in it. The heat vision effect being bluish white bugged me a bit, but that could just be something that they're trying to show that she was using so much energy that it got white hot. But as i said before just a bit nitpicky.

I noticed that as well, it's the same effect they introduced in MOS.

And like I said the few things I didn't like was just me being more nitpicky than anything.

With the bared midriff and the hotpants, it combined Kara's two most skin-baring looks in history. The perfect way to showcase how ridiculous it all was-- let the girl kick ass in a look that makes sense, already!

...not that I would ever complain about that much skin from a strictly, ahem, aesthetic standpoint, but my girl deserves to suit up like a bad-ass.
