I wonder who was in the pod....
Val-Zod!
Krypto!
A hangover cure for Clark!
Might even be her mom.
I read some where that Berlanti wants to do the whole New Krypton story arc.
If it's her dad, we could end up with a Cyborg Superman after all.
Hadn't thought about that.
And did you notice the little orb power source?
The Omegahedron, a direct reference to Helen Slater's film.
The signature MacGuffin also cameo'd in Indigo's first episode.
I love little things like that. I do believe they still called it the Omegahedron as well.
You believe correctly!
And they referenced, IIRC, its being able to power a city, which was its purpose in the '84 film.
After tonight's season premiere.
You know, I've read the books, but I have never managed to watch the series? I keep trying, but can't find anywhere cheap to view it. I guess five years from now, the first season or two will show up on Netflix.
In other news, I almost find the adorableness of the new supergirl a detractor.
HBO has their own proprietary streaming service for $14.99 a month, so their TV shows will probably stay there for the foreseeable future.
Just because someone's adorable, doesn't mean they can't be bad-ass. In fact, for me, someone who can be adorable and then bust out the bad-ass makes them even more bad-ass when they're bad-ass.
Take the cast of RWBY, for instance. Particularly Ruby herself.
And Pyrrha. Oh, my dear, beloved Pyrrha.
I'm not saying that cute girls can't be bad asses, I just...I'm sort of anti-cute-girl. I have an instinctive distrust of blonde cheerleader types. And perky people. Anyway I finished my post in that other thread if you're interested.
