Much better than the American remake.

I think the remake had potential. But it's hard to recapture chemistry.

Also they seemed to try and reshoot scenes exactly like it was on the original which was their biggest mistake.

The American version wasn't written or acted nearly as well.

Plus they tried to stretch the material out into too many more episodes. And when they changed the twist ending, it had far less emotional resonance.

And her name, of all things, is Claire.
