The Last Daughter of Krypton OOC

i loved playing that game!!!!

(latest incarnation blows tho)

I haven't played as much modern-day "WoD" as I have played "Exalted."

(I was a Vampire mortician once, that was kind of funny. I took the flaw that I smelled like a corpse, but I explained it away 'cause I worked with dead people... and once I was a junkyard dog Lupus...)

But "Exalted" is holy brilliant goodness.

never really looked at Exalted.

My favorite was a Wendigo Lupus Theurge

he was fun

(still working on a post. trying like hell to catch up. got 25 pics of presents being opened tho & watched some Beast Wars with my little guy!!)

whew!!!!!

FINALLY got that one out!!!

Nice one!

(Hay, do Kyle's injuries heal themselves when he transitions from one form to another?)

Also, is it bad that all of my characters seem to quote "Ghostbusters" material like it's a religious text?

As far as "Exalted" goes, you haven't RP'd until you've RP'd a devilishly witty arachnoanthrope shapeshiftress in a forgotten age before the dawn of human history.

Tears, Abraxas, Chas, Luna...

your last posts were just awesome!

"Odin's Muppety Beard" and the "fuck-off mallet" had me rolling.

Abraxas, your character's viewpoints on things as they happen are so perfectly hysterical in their reality.

Tears, Luna, you guys just rock, plain and simple.

Damn good posts, everyone!

(Chas, thanks for the Young Indy Jones ref....caught that, I did ).

Yay, SPF!

So Chloe has a crush on an Indy, a Superman, and one kid who did a song on the "Smallville" soundtrack. ("Beautiful Soul" was playing when Clark and Alicia were at the skating rink, if I remember right.)

"Great Muppety Odin" is a line from "Buffy" Season Eight, and it killed me to read it.

:: grins madly :: And I'm waiting patiently to see if anyone gets the source of the Vincent D'Onofrio reference.

Your Thor, Amen, is just owning. I'm having all giddy spells over here.

(Don't worry, Abraxas, Rose isn't dumping Kyle. But Chas is like, damn.)

Also, Lunar "broke a church." I was in stitches!

(Plus, Kara telling Thor to put down his hammer is so awesome I can't believe Busiek didn't include it in "JLA/Avengers.")

I'm surprised that a certain image hosting website hasn't yet banned that image from my folders.

I'm also glad they haven't =^^=

I have two new passions in my life: eggnog and My Name is Lincoln

neither are new to my life, so I suppose I should say I have a renewed interest in them =^^=

There's a video link in my sig I should point out, entitled Around the World

VIEW IT =^^=

Ok... D'Onofrio is a reference to a great 80's movie called Adventures In Babysitting. One of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES!!!! Little girl is like the worlds biggest Thor fan, to the point of consistently stealing her brother's acne cream to finish her many paintings of Thor and wearing a Thor helmet and carrying a Moljorner(SP?) for like more than half the movie. Until they meet a really big Jerk of a mechanic, who is played by Vincent D'Onofrio, and looks very similar to Thor. While he is being all mean and assholish, the little girl runs up to him, drops to her knees and greets him as befitting Thor, then tells him it's okay he just can't remember who he is without his helmet and hammer. And gives him hers. As they walk away, stranded in the city with no car, he calls them back, gives the girl back her hammer and helmet and the car keys, and tells her it's ok, his are in his closet.

I almost always tear up a bit at that part.
