history lesson was from an internet search on "Tarot" and "Rulers of Milan" plus i used a little literary license. as for the faces of death, i searched for "Death personification" and used a little of my own knowledge.

Historical literary licence is a favourite trope of mine. That's how come I kind of shoe-horned The Battle of Hastings into the "Veritos" backstory. XD

Don't forget, Var, that back in the day, as kind of implied by Pete's fanboyishness and Chloe's having read his biography, Giovanni "John" Zatara was a pretty famous stage musician. This was his cover, at least in classic continuity, for a career of mystical superheroism. Granted, he may still be pretty obscure.

Zatanna's a Gotham Girl in the classic comics, and Shadowcrest woulda been almost as well-known to Gothamites as the Wayne family's abode... if Dinah's from Gotham... which, The JSA was based in Gotham originally, right, so Dinah's mom would have been?

All this is assuming very small differences between mainstream and LDoK continuity, which is an easy trap to fall into, I guess.
