A Time Lord could use his respiratory bypass system to survive Force Choke, could manipulate a certain quantity of energy to diminish the effectiveness of Force Lightning, would have a strong psychic presence to resist any sort of mindfuck, could possibly exhibit telekinesis, and if he were within fifteen hours of his regeneration cycle, could grow back severed limbs.

Also, they're buggers to keep dead.
