The Last Daughter of Krypton OOC

Bah, I must hae missed that when I saw it. At the time I was wishing I was blind. Alba is a very gorgeous woman, but man that movie was terrible.

On the bright side? I saw The Incredible Hulk Friday, amazing. Thank god for moms. Mine took care of my daughter so the wife and I could have a little dinner and a movie date. Hulk ruled. Abomination was amazing. God I cant wait for the Avengers.

I dunno, there were certain elements that were delightful, but it borrowed heavily from a number of other sources. "Mothman Prophecies," for one thing, and the ghastly psychopomps seemed to resemble nothing more than the zombified monsters Alice fights in the church in "Resident Evil: Apocalypse."

On the bright side, though, in addition to referencing our mutual favourite Chicagoan wizard (books? these I must read!), it does a direct, blatant riff on "Daredevil" right at the beginning.

Jessica saves a skateboarder from being hit by traffic in very much the same way that Matthew Michael "Daredevil" Murdock saves Stan Lee. And apparently they have the same conversation, almost verbatim:

Rescuee: "I didn't see that coming!"
Blind Rescuer, with a smirk: "Neither did I."

...so that was sexy.

I would watch a movie with Jessica Alba as Daredevil.

Dunno 'bout the new "Hulk," though. I may have to wait for that on DVD for reasons I've already discussed.

Sorry, I had some complications over seas. But, I'm safe and home. I'm visiting family in Cali right now, so I won't be on everyday, but I'll be on much more.

I have to agree with you there Abraxas. Although was it just me or did it at times seem like the director had done some bad editing?
 
Well from what I understand they chopped something like a half hour. But I didnt notice any really glaring editting issues.

In my defence, he MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARED after telling us he'd received a WOUND from a BULLET fired from a GUN.

I thought maybe they were doing surgery and The Big Guy punched his ticket while he was on the table. :: frets :: That can happen even with a simple op, that's a statistical fact.
 
Well, Chas is right, I dissapeared after a bullet got me, and I apologize for that. And, after being threatened with Carrie Underwood, it'll never happen again, that's for damn sure. lol.

wb supes hope chas gives you some of the details on what we were thinking of doing once i got the okay from tears. and some info about alfred that i told her about. its a really abscure fact i think they really just used in the animated series.
