The winds and sands of the desert could be vicious, harsh, unmerciful to the foolish traveller, with small oasis' to meet the eyes of the weary traveller and the caravan. And all of the city of Mnemorah knew this. When the sandstorms came, the relied upon the newest built wall to protect them. War was rarely seen these days, no, it was of peaceful times. Where that in which the slaves continued to expand the Mnemorah kingdom, where that of riches and jewels went far and free, wealth, power, all of this graced the lands of golden sand with it's glory. That of which was only the tyrant king and his rule with an iron fist that made it the most horrible place, at times, to live in. And when a tyrant rules, a rebellion forms. But in this case, the very early rebellion begins with a woman. One woman at first.

Within the timeless city of Mnemorah, set within the high sands of miles and miles of desert, with but the river running along the city to rely on everyone knew there would be, as always, trouble. Such things other than this king of theirs to taint the sands of this desert wonderland. Theives, criminals, Mnemorah's greatness had not managed to flee that. And it so started, it all seemed, with this rebellion. This woman.

She worked within the palace, as a dancer, it so seemed, and that alone had been enough to draw the attention of the king. He was young, arrogant, and extremely self centered. It so seemed the entire of Mnemorah had to evole around him. That was what made it so difficult. For once he'd set his sights upon something, someone, he was destined to have them. His sights, it so seemed, had settled upon this girl, Nirasha. Perhaps she may have better prepared herself, but she soon so very well learned it was not wise to refuse the wants of this young king, not at all. For that, she'd been locked away, and yet he still wasn't satisfied. She knew he wouldn't be, not until he'd gotten what he'd wanted. And so she escaped.

The deserts were harsh, especially to one so fair. Within the age limit of eighteen, Nirasha stood tall, with stark raven hair, walling especially long, her skin a fairish, tanned bronze hue, and glitter emerald eyes shining carefully from a face made of beauty. Her figure was just as attractive, thin, tall, and curvatious, made for what she loved to do, and was fairly good at doing. Dancing. But the high winds and sand were vicious to she and the horse she'd stolen and fled with into the desert to escape this. She became so lucky as to stumble across a oasis within the desert, and so she remained there. Only until she ran into two more women. And the trio went on to expand, until they formed a band of thirty, all women, all warriors, all rebels. They robbed, yes, from those wealthy, supporters of the tyrant king. Nobles and others who supported him. And the moment he'd learned of her living, he decided to send out someone after her.

"We've caught one, not like all the others.." One of her watch women said with a grin, pulling down the sash that concealed her face from the winds and sun. Nirasha grinned brightly, brushing back her hair as she too pulled hers down. Within the heated sun, even in the oasis, she dared not dress too heavily. In all white, for now it seemed, light, loose clothing, with always a weapon at hand. She and her band of all females used scimitars, the long, curved blades proving most effective. It so seemed she'd found this stranger, this invader, caught by her scouts and watchers, hanging by an ankle upside down. They'd taken his horse, and had left him to a trap. He'd become ensnared here, hanging from a tall desert tree by his ankle, quite an amusing sight.

"Congradulations...you've managed to find us, the Rebellion. Welcome to the Lioness' Cage..." She turned away, leaving the children who'd, in turn, been rescued from the old, filthy dirt streets of Mnemorah, to beat at this stranger with long sticks, laughign and giggling all along. She turned her head to meet the gaze of her second in command.

"What should we do with this one. Do you think he's a spy for that Tyrant? Should we kill him?"

"We will see.."

::OOC-Placed in ancient times, like ancient egypt and what not, obviously in a almost surrounding. Wouldn't mind to have the man the Rebels caught, as well as the King.::

Martin

Martin is 22 years old. He’s very well built, from spending lots of time a-horseback. He’s been so devoted to his work that he has not had time for women. He had one girl who he got very close to at the age of 16 but she took extreme advantage of him and he shunned off women ever since. The king keeps him constantly tracking everything. Martin was the king’s best hunter. He had been able to track just about anything in the lands.

He had grown up under the tutorage of the previous tracker of the king and started doing the previous man’s job at the age of 10. During the last 12 years, he had spent all but a few nights alone tracking whatever the king needed. Martin was not happy with many of the things the king had done during his reign and so the king wanted Martin as far from anyway of him creating problems as possible.

The King had told Martin a woman had formed a band out here in the desert that he wanted brought in. Martin was told the group could not be more than two or three women total, no problem for one of his experience. Martin had tried to get others to help but all had refused since it seemed so easy. He had just thought it sounded too easy but no one listened.

Martin had tracked the women initially easily enough and followed them towards their hideout. He had suspected the trap minutes before it had been sprung on him and he realized how much worse the situation was for the king than the king thought. This was no random group of a few women out to work against the king. This was quickly turning into a full group of people wanting to oust the king.

The interrogation went much different than Martin had suspected. These women and children knew what they were up against and were prepared. Even the children knew how to hit much harder than normal. (or at least it seemed it to Martin.)

*She had lived with nomads most of her young life till their camp was destroyed by rival raiders desert snakes hired by a king to find him more "human property". Her eyes had been her curse and her back bore the fading scar proof of the rage of the king. She had run away somehow not remembering how she managed to get away all her memories held was the kings hand at her throat then she awoke in this camp of Rebels safe and cared for. She had been here 4 harvests now and still her temper was as wild as the fire in her eyes. and her accuracy with a bow just as lethal*

*A will that none had broken yet that had dared try she stood with the others staring with sheer hate at this man before them hearing that another like the king she had been freed from sent him. She lifted the bow leveling the arrow at him*

I say we kill him and let the denizens of the sands claim him
