Hi, I'm looking for someone to join me in a RP about getting lost in the jungle and stumbling upon a lost tribe of natives. Preferably someone interested in the storyline not just the sex :) So if anyone is interested...post your character! :)
I haven't really decided if I want to be a native or a lost person.....just wanted to put out feelers...but I'm female if that helps :)

May day....Mayday

Name: Bobby Freeman
Age: 28
Race: White
Hieght: 5' 9"
Weight: 175
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Sandy, longish(shaggy)

(Static)
"Repeat, this is Tropical 0243 I'm having engine trouble I'm 12 miles south of Taluei and ....I'm 5 miles inland from the coast!"

"ARE you making a water landing?"

Bobby wanted to throw the headset and built in mike out the window.

"Control, NO! I'm 5 miles inland 12 miles South of Taluie!" The plane is lossing altitude. He can clearly see the jungle getting closer. Soon he would be tree top level. With one enginer out and the other smoking he knew he would not be in the air much longer. He also knew that down the coast that the jungle broke into rolling hills. If he could get to those hills he would have a much better chance then trying to find some place in the jungle to put the plane down.

Tropical 0243 Taluei is on the coast can you see the beach?"

"The beach? I'm too low to see the beach, I see trees, lots of trees....wait...."

That is all that was heard of flight 0243!

thank you!!

OOC: Maha'ara, young, dark brown eyes, long black hair, wears a skirt made of animal skins and a fur around shoulders.
She is the healer/prophet of the tribe which is called Achwa. Very influential in the Achwa community because of her healing powers, which are thought to be magical. Very intelligent (so I can write how I write :) )
The Achwa have lived in the deep jungle for thousands of years, untouched by any outside forces.

IC:

Maha'ara woke to a buzzing noise which sounded like the stinging insects that lived in trees, except this buzzing was loud. Too loud. She covered her ears and rose from her mat. Already she could hear shouts and cries from the people in her village. "The sky is falling!" she heard someone scream. But she did not believe that the sky could fall, so she laughed as she threw her fur over her shoulders. She walked outside to find out what was going on.

The village chief and his woman stood in the center of the clearing, in a heated discussion with some of the warriors. She made her way towards them. The chief made a polite little bob with his head to acknowledge her presence. " Do you know what is making that sound?" he shouted.

She shook her head.

(Gonna wait till you post details of the crash)

Tropical 0243

A RIVER! Bobby yells. He turns the plane and it responds. He is now below tree top level. The canopy of trees creates a canyon effect. Then the smoking engine stops. The prop would not feather and creates a drag pulling the plane toward the river bank. H e drops the flaps to slow the plane and try to get more lift. Ahead he sees a strip of sandy beach. He will need every inch on the beach. The trees crowd in on him as he compensates for the prop drag. He is just over the river now. A gear up landing!

"I hope there are no rocks on the beach!" The nose finds the wet sand followed by the rest of the plane. The beach starts to narrow. The beach starts to curve but the plane continues to go straight. Two large trees dead ahead. Bobby closes his eyes there is nothing he can do!

WHAM!!

The trees take out the wings at the roots. The fuselage continues on for twenty feet . Then comes to a rest on the jungle floor. Bobby opens his eyes and looks out the cracked wind screen.
"I"M ALIVE!" he calls out.

Maha'ara listened carefully, trying to pinpoint where the sound was coming from. Smoke was pouring into the village now, thick and acrid smelling. It seemed to be from the direction of the river, and cautiously, she started towards it. The chief followed, commanding the warriors to take up their spears and keep a sharp eye. The rest of the villagers huddled together, wide eyes searching the jungle for the source of the noise and smoke.

Suddenly, the ground shook slightly and instead of a buzzing, a loud crunching sound is heard. Maha'ara opened her senses to the world around her, wondering silently if the world was cracking apart. Nature told her no, that this was something new....something foreign. Then a horrible tearing sound, so grating that many of the villagers fell to their knees, screaming and holding their ears. Even some of the warriors looked fearfully towards their chief, who himself seemed ready to flee in the opposite direction. Instead he shouted to the people, "Arm yourselves and hide amongst the trees! Warriors, on me!"

The screeching noise ended, and they proceeded towards the river. Silently they slipped through the trees to investigate. There was sand dust in the air and Maha'ara covered her mouth and nose to avoid it entering her lungs. The warriors made hand motions to each other as they crept closer to the river beach. There was no doubt that whatever had made all the noise was an enemy, and they were prepared to kill.

Finally, a shape began to take form in front of them. A huge, shiny beast lay in the sand, burning. Clouds of smoke rolled away from it, making it even more difficult to breathe. Suddenly from amidst the great smoking beast, a shout was heard. The warriors gripped their spears tightly and jumped out of the trees, to attack the shiny beast. Hundreds of spears hit the beast and yet it made no noise. It was as if the spears had been driven into rock; they would not pierce. The warriors backed away...circled the object.

"Over here!" shouted one who was called Yolo. Maha'ara and the rest of the warriors rushed to his side. There was something inside the shiny beast, staring at them with wide eyes. It was a person, Maha'ara thought, but not a person like she had ever seen before.

"Attack!" Yolo screamed. The warriors raised their spears. One of the braver ones grabbed the person and yanked him out of the metal beast for easier killing access.

I'm Alive!

The plane comes to a rest. "I"M ALIVE!" He calls out. He closes his eyes and leans back in his seat. Small fires are burning around the plane. There is all sorts of damage. Black oily smoke fills the jungle. He looks down and thinks 'I better get out of here. He disconnects his harness and wiggles out of it. He stands up and finds his emergency kit. He opens the side door and carries the remote homing signal over to a tree away from the plane. He returns to the plane and pulls the emergency life raft off the wall and puts it next to the other equiptment.

On his third trip back to the plane he hears noise out side the plane. He turns toward the sound and suddenly he hears a multitude of thuds against the out side of the plane. He moves to the front of the plane and looks out the cracked windshield and sees some one looking in at him. Then he turns as another one with a spear jumps into the plane and pulls him out. The one with the spear yells out something and a crowd of men with spears surround him and are shouting at him. Bobby doesn't understand them. It sounds like a mix of tribal laungages he had heard before. He makes a desperate decision.

"AHmak-dida, AHMAK-dida....AHmak-dida, da..MOK-tada, Ant-MAK-tada.. Da- Mak-ta -da...OK..GET THE FUCK OFF ME!" He shouts.

Maha'ara watched as the warriors pulled the person out of the metal beast. The warriors readied their spears to kill him (she was sure it was a he). He was yelling out strange things, almost as if the tree spirits had gotten ahold of his tongue. The corners of her mouth turned up in a smile and in that split second, she knew he must not die. He had uttered the word "fuck"; it was a word associated with Lanahi, Achwa god of sex and procreation. She had heard it whispered in the wind sometimes when she was performing a fertility ritual. She often heard strange words in different tongues.

"Stop!" she commanded. "Do not harm him, for I sense he may be of great use to us one day."

Most of the spears were lowered, but Yolo made a move...aiming his spear directly at the throat of the man who now lay on the ground, looking confused and angry.

"Lower your spear, Yolo!" she said again. Yolo blinked in surprise and turned to look at her. He backed slowly away from the man. Maha'ara stepped forward, studying the man. He was a curious specimen...his skin was white like the forest lillies that grew close to her hut. His hair was shorter than most of the village men's but it was not black. Instead it reminded her of the sand of the river beach. She reached out a hand, tentatively, to touch it.

Bloody savages

"Whoa, what's this?" as a native raised a spear. Then a young woman stepped forward. She had, tender dark brown eyes, long black hair, and wears a skirt made of animal skins and a fur around her shoulders. She had spoken and the men had listened. Except the one guy with a look of anger and a trace of fear. She spoke to him again and the the native lowered his spear.

Bobby wasn't sure what it had been that drew her attention but was happy it had worked. Then she reached out and touched his hair. She sort of pet it first then ran her fingers through it.

Bobby was tempted to reach out and touch her back, but with all the men around him he figured that was not a good idea. It was obvious she had some influance over the men. Bobby smiles at her. Thinking back at what he had said. The local phasing or his English had gotten her attention. He decided to try a little English.

He lookes at her and smiles " So you want to fuck?"

Maha'ara ran her fingers through the strange man's hair. It felt...different, to say the least. She touched his white skin, then her own. That at least felt the same. The man smiled up at her and uttered some more words. She touched the corners of his upturned mouth, then frowned a little, wishing she understood how and why he had come to be here. She decided that she must study him closely to determine how he fit into the plans of the great god Lanahi.

The other warriors were crowded around, anxiously awaiting an explanation from her. The chief stood on the other side of the metal beast, examining it. It was still smoking slightly and made it hard for her to make eye contact with him. Finally he looked in her direction and she looked him straight in the eye. The words passed between them without being spoken, and he nodded his approval.

"Bring him," she commanded the warriors, then she joined the chief where he stood poking the smoking beast. "I have never seen anything like this, not even in my visions."

"It is from a world beyond ours."

"Perhaps. But I have sensed that this man comes to us from Lanahi. He is in some way important to our way of life, and will be of great use to us in the future. The spirits have told me this," Maha'ara said softly. She looked over to the man who was now standing between two warriors looking confused. The warriors were waiting for the chief to lead the way back to the village.

"We will send some of our study-ers to see what they can learn of this beast. In the meantime, you must see to this man. His presence might alarm some of the villagers. Look after him, Maha'ara; ensure that he does not upset the balance of our village."

She nodded to him and gave a polite little bow, then turned once again to the warriors. "To my hut." A little group broke off from the rest and followed Maha'ara through the trees, bringing the white-skinned man with them. She looked over her shoulder at him and noticed that his eyes as he looked back at her were filled with curiosity rather than fear.

crazy times in a crazy place

She ran her fingers through Bobby's hair. "So you want to fuck?" didn't work. Bobby thought. She touched the corners of his mouth, then frowned a little.
"I know you don't understand." She looked at the older men near his plane. Spoke to him and the only word he could make out is 'Lanahi'. He had heard the term in one of the villages for up the coast.

Bobby watched as she nodded and bowed to the older man."Got it, he is chief!" A couple guards or warriors guided him through the jungle. Bobby watched as the girl lead the group back to the village. She has long black hair, and wears a skirt made of animal skins that just barely cover her ass.

I wonder if she wears underwear? She lookes back at him. He smiles.

Maha'ara was suddenly unsure if bringing this strange man back to the village was the right thing to do. Even though she could not understand most of the words which he spoke, she was pretty sure he felt no fear about the situation. Not that she wanted him to feel fear, but it was almost as if he was being too.....familiar. She decided to put it out of her mind for the time-being, but wondered just what did the word "fuck" mean to him.

Finally, they arrived in the village and Yolo let out a cry that was meant to bring the people back out of hiding. Slowly, they crept out of the trees and then many shouts were heard as they laid eyes on the strange white skin of the man they had brought with them. Some of the elders of the village shouted "Demon! Demon!" and then spit on the ground, to indicate that his presence was not wanted. Maha'ara shook her head; sometimes the superstitions of her people weighed on her. They did not accept that there were other worlds beyond theirs no matter how many times she informed her that the gods told her otherwise.

The chief made a brief speech informing the villagers that the white man would be staying with her so that he could be properly studied and his purpose for being here understood. He continued to talk, explain what had happened, but Maha'ara was already bored. She motioned to the white man with what she hoped was a "follow me" gesture. She wanted to be away from the crowd, so she could attempt to talk to him.

Home-the village

Bobby looks at the village. An out rush of people appear. And they don't apear too friendly. 'I would be scared shitless if it didn't seem so absurd that they had never seen a white man before.' he though to himself. Then he remembered that he had been way off coarse. The winds from the storm had forced him was to the South of Taluie. Then the engines had given out. That is what you get using local labor to fix the engines in the first place. He could only be angry at himself. So here he was in a village far off coarse. In the middle of no where with folks that were not all that welcoming.

The old guy the-chief-was talking to the villagers and now and then pointing to the girl in the short skirt. She made a gesture for him to follow her and Bobby smiles and nods his head. He follows her through the village to the far side. He follows her up a set of stone steps to a statue of a rather large round woman. He had heard stories of tribes that worshiped stone figures. Bobby looks at the girl and points.

"Lanahi?" he askes.

Maha'ara led the man to the small stone temple of the goddess Pawai. She was the goddess of intelligence, wisdom, and understanding, and Maha'ara had pledged herself to Pawai when she was young. She hoped that the goddess would hear her prayers now as she touched her forehead to the round statue in supplication.

The white man looked at her and pointed saying, "Lanahi?" Maha'ara smiled and shook her head. Pointing to herself she told him, "Maha'ara." She walked closer to him and waited for him to tell her what he was called.

Suddenly, a vision sprang to her mind. A angry slash of crimson flowed in her eyes, drowning everyone in her village until she herself was swallowed up by it. She came back to reality with a small cry.

The things Maha'ara saw always were true, unless she found a way to prevent them. Was it he who had caused this horrible prophecy? Or was he the answer to the problem? Whatever the case, she needed more information about this man before it was too late.

"What are you called?" she said urgently in her own tongue.

Maha'ara

Bobby watched is the girl pointed to the stone idol and called it "Lanahi". Bobby had never heard of a local idol called Lanahi. These people have never been touched by modern life. He thinks. Then she pointed to herself and said"Maha'ara"

Bobby smiled and nodded and pointed back at the girl. " Maha'ara" The girl moved closer to him. He smiled at her and pointed to himself "Bobby Freeman"
He reaches into his back pocket of his jeans and pulls out his wallet. He opens it and pulls out a peice of paper-his pilots licence and hands it to her.

" Bobby Freeman flyer of big silver bird!" He pionts to the paper. "Bobby Freeman!"
