I think they made a mistake as did A&M. I don't think Mizzou has the facilities or recruiting power to keep up.

That was my thought, and we also don't have the size, speed, or power to compete with Alabama, LSU, Florida, or Ole Miss. Hell, half the SEC are filled with corn-fed motherfuckers. I honestly think Mizzou is going to get railroaded their first couple years in the SEC....So much for my school doing well again while I'm there.....

I agree! I think A&M stands a better chance than Mizzou.
Another question for you fellas. What do y'all think about the playoff system? I don't think a 4 team is going to be enough.

SEC is so damn tough week in and week out. I think they will be like Miss St for a while. Sec just wanted that TV market and recruiting area lol

People love to hate on the SEC, but the truth is IMO that there is a ton of talent here.. we have guys sitting on the bench in Alabama that could start at many schools.. so hate us or not, we have the skill players here..
Personally, I don't see anyone getting in the way of the SEC having yet another national champion.
I think Mizzou is gonna see just how hard it is to recruit here and compete..

I think ...just like all attempts to do something by those people....the playoff system may be a start of an eventual system but until then it may turn into a cluster fuck in it's early days

we're gonna have the same problems tho...with teams complaining about not being included. Until teams like Boise State start running the same gaunlets as the other big schools, its not right to include them in any national championship playoff..
Oh yeah, that's the only reason that Mizzou went. Although they are gonna lose a lot of revenue when every team in the SEC is wiping their ass with Mizzou's logo.
Oh, and about the playoff system, it's going to fall apart when they get to that point. People are going to realize that something is wrong when you are only vying for 4 positions, and you have a lot of colleges that "deserve" a spot due to their records or voting.
I gotta agree. I'd like to see Boise State come up against Alabama or LSU....Boise State would get the shit kicked outta them all game long.

Yeah a cluster like the BCS is now! I do agree with IHC, I hope it turns into an eight team playoff eventually.

For a championship bracket, I think division, schedule, and record should be taken into consideration. Each division should be rated from toughest to "easiest". The schedule should be looked at. Which teams played the most games in their schedule in a row, which teams had the most breaks or off days? Then record should be looked at. I mean, you can be 12-0 but just have gotten lucky when your team should be closer to 8-4 but you got a few lucky decisions or something came up that allowed you to scrape out a win. I also think the BSC needs to be scrapped for a better playoff system, otherwise we will end up seeing a championship game pretty soon that is going to be a trouncing by one team....

Talk about running a gauntlet, man can you believe the way some of Bama's schedules have been? WTF! You have to give Saban credit(love him or hate him) for preparing them boys to play like they have.
