Braxton Lee had a small shop on the wrong side of town. She spent most of her evenings reading palms of tourists, giving them what they wanted to hear. Some came to her for help regarding their love life and personal life.

She let them tell her their story, and with a gut feeling, Braxton let them hear what they needed to hear, something positive, something to look forward to. Something to live another day for.

Yes there were times when she got that 'feeling' of what her powers truly held and she did her best to mask the hatred she felt. . .the evil, the darkness of a soul that was haunted.

Tonight, the moon was hidden by black clouds, a light, warm breeze was felt. As she was finishing up with her last customer, Braxton could tell something was going to happen. She bade the customer good night and as she was going to lock up her place, the force of a push stopped her. She looked up right into the blue-grey eyes of a handsome stranger.

He voice was dark and mysterious yet seemingly calm, "I need your help."
