Ulma
I walked into the dining room and sighed again.
"Jen," I said in a scolding tone,"Dont you think you could have dressed in something a little more....festive? I told you tonight was going to be special. I swear, sometimes I think you do these things just to annoy me."
Sitting down, I signalled to the servant to begin serving the dinner. "Now, Dear," I said in a condecending tone of voice-the only one that seemed to get through to her,"As I was saying earlier, you are almost eighteen. At that time you will be expected to take your place in our society."
"I fear you are not prepared to follow in my footsteps yet though one day I hope to remedy that. I intend to start tonight. As of tonight you will take over your own 'servant'-one I bought especially for you. If you suceed in his care, than we will go from there until you have mastered the art of womanhood."
"I know you have refused to take part in what is rightfully your station in life but, honestly Jen, you will have to one day. It is the natural order of things. The woman has always been the one to take care of the male. That we are the dominate species now is...natural. Nature has made it's choice and you simply must follow that."
Turning to the servant who had brought in the food, I said,"Antil, go and fetch my daughter's present. Present him here and have him serve her. From this time on he is to see to her various needs."
Smiling at Jen as Antil left, I said,"You will see, Dear. Give it some time and you will end up loving the attention that they can give you."

I thought her mother gave her the 'present' at her b-day dinner but then had to excuse herself early for business?)
