The Mugger's Surprise

Pepper McDonald

"I am only trying to get you to feel more comfortable with me. I could hurt you, but that isn't my job."

She sat silently slipping on her margarita....."How are you feeling? Better?" She asked lifting an eyebrow.

Ray Jones

He was still puzzled as to what she wanted from him. One thing was certain, nothing about her was exactly what it seemed. In fact, he was starting to think that the vampire was the only truly honest woman he had ever seen.

"Yes, I am feeling better," he said, sipping his beer while keeping his eyes cast down.

Pepper McDonald

She sat there drinking. This was not going to be an easy chore. He was dense........

"Ok, Well, if you don't wish to talk then I think I will head to bed, if you are alright. I just wanted to check on you. You are free to go to bed where and when you wish." She said, before standing. She waited, just in case he said somethiiing.

Ray Jones

Ray looked at her. She seemed to be frustrated, but he had no idea why. He was trying to please her, obeying everything she said and trying to guess when she was playing games and when not. What more could he do? She could read that thought of course, and so there was no point in not voicing it.

"I have displeased you," he said to her, his voice level. "I do not know what I have done wrong. Please tell me."

Pepper McDonald

She sighed, not really knowing how to say this. "Look, I just want you to be yourself around me. Tell me what you are thinking, don't make me search for it. Talk to me, as if I were someone on the street. Have you ever really had a friend? Someone that cared for you?'

She sounded exasperated, she knew, but what else could she do?

Ray Jones

That was an easy question to answer, one of two ways. He could be flippant and ask what a friend is or just say:

"No, I have never had a friend. Not even before I dropped out of school. I was always too dumb and too strong for people to want to know me."

There was no remorse in his voice, it was just a statement of what had been. He seemed as though he neither cared that he had had no friends, nor that he probably never would.

Pepper McDonald

She felt pity for him. To know that he had never had friends was bad enough but to never have friends and not care was worse.

"I pity you then. No wonder you are the sniffling imbosile you pretend to be."

She walked past him then turned. "I would be your friend, if you chose to have one. But that is a choice you need to make, not me."

Ray Jones

Ray looked at her, blinking away the insult as if she had not made it. Well, if she wanted honesty, he would offer it to her. The more the vampire decided he must satisfy Pepper, the more he became sure it was a no-win situation.

"I do not need pity. What good are friends anyway? I've seen what happened to people at school who had friends, they fought with each other at times, and at other times just made each other weak. You're a lot stronger alone."

He shrugged, knowing that was the wrong statement to make.

Pepper McDonald

She hit him. Something she was not prone to do, but she did. Her hand went to the back of his head and slapped him hard.

"Funny you should talk about weak! You who pray on the innocent because you are too WEAK to work. Because it is too hard for you to stand on your own to feet and make a living on your own. Right one you are to talk about WEAK. Look at you. A woman beats the shit out of you and you call people like me WEAK! At least I can stand on my own!"

Ray Jones

The blow was more unexpected than painful, although she did knock him forward some. He reached up to cup his head in surprise and looked at her. So, she was capable of being aggressive after all. He smiled slightly as he imagined once more that she could be turned into another mistress. That drew his mind away from the insult she had made. He couldn't help stop the grin from continuing to spread across his face as he imagined her helping the vampire to maul him.

"Thank you," he breathed.

"Thank you?" Her mind was confused as he smiled at her. "What is so funny?"

She was thouroughly pissed off. How dare him think that this was a laughing matter. "Do you even know what we are doing for you? Or are you so stupid you don't realize?"

Ray Jones

He realised what they were doing for him all right. They were training him to enjoy being dominated by women. And more and more he was coming to enjoy that idea. It was like a sweet surrender which eased the fears of his life: loneliness, need to be strong, refusal to let anoyone close, danger. They were torturing him and causing him so much pleasure.

"Yes, mistre... Yes," he said eventually. "I know that you are training me to be a...sub-sub-" he tried to remember exactly what the word was. "submissive?"

Pepper McDonald

"NO!" She cried, thinking he would never understand. "I am trying to teach you to be a better person. Though..." She thought he was right. He was only learning to be a sub. "I guess you are right."

She walked over to the seat and and sat down. "I am sorry. I just don't know how you are going to fit into our lives if you get too attached. You need to leave. Take the clothes, hawk them do whatever, but leave."

Ray Jones

Ray was shocked. He had done everything in his ability to understand what they desired and obey. He had taken everything they had to offer and grown grateful for it. Now he was being thrown out like he didn't matter. He considered beating Pepper to a pulp for what she was doing, but as he stood, he knew he couldn't. That was the whole point, wasn't it. He didn't matter.

He sighed, and said just one more thing to her. "Thank you... mistress."

It was what she was, and if she was throwing him out anyway, then he might as well state it. He glanced over to the door to the street outside and approached it. He didn't even remember he was naked. He was too shut down. He opened the door and stepped out into the street beyond. Then he continued walking, lost in the ultimate betrayal, ignoring the cries and screams around him.

Pepper McDonald

She read his mind as he left, feeling sorry for what she had done. He had walked out naked, and that was worse.

:: Don't just stand there. Go get him!::

She grabbed a jacket, one long enough to cover him. With a tear in her eye she ran after him. She took a bit catching up with him.

"I am sorry, please don't leave.. I ......just got angry. We don't want you to leave. Please come back in and let me explain." She looked at him, tears in her eyes, wanting him to understand, but knowing he couldn't.

::please:: she projected in his mind.

Ray Jones

His face was slack when he turned to face her, almost as though his mind had disconnected from his body. He barely seemed to respond to her words, barely seemed to hear them. He didn't respond when she put the coat about his shoulders, but nor did he prevent her from doing so. But when she led him back to the house, at least he followed. Mute, but entirely compliant, he reentered the building.

Pepper McDonald

He walked in not saying a word the whole time. She had let him down and she knew it. "I am sorry." She said, sitting him on the couch.

"Look, I know you are confused, and I don't blame you. We niether one have been honest with you. But I am willing to tell you now what you want to know. That is if what you want to know. All you have to do is ask." Pepper said, worried that he was really upset.

"Yes, Ask her." A voice said behind him. "Ask her my pet."

Ray Jones

Ray spun around at the voice, suddenly revitalised by the sound of his mistress, the woman who owned him... the woman he was beginning to hold in an adoration he had never felt before. His knees buckled as he fell to a kneeling position before her. "Yes, mistress," he said.

With that he looked back at Pepper, clearing a lump from his throat. "Please, mis...Pepper. Please tell me what it is you are trying to do with me."

Pepper McDonald

Pepper stood, walking over to Elizabeth. She grabbed her hair, and pulled her head back, forcefully before licking Elizabeth's neck.

"For many generations my family has kept contact with Elizabeth. We have trained her into what she is today. She is a woman, searching for those like you who seek and destroy the innocent. She preys on you, usually if you do not listen and heed my advice. She brings them here, for her to beat until they beg forgiveness then when they wake I am here to show them that not all the world is bad. I love them, care for them, teach them how to live among the living."

Sshe glanced down at the man at their feet. "BUt you came along and changed the rules. You have become willing prey. And now, I don't have a clue what to do with you."

Elizabeth looks up at her Mistress. "WE could make him one of my kind."

"Your a fool to think that." Pepper says to Elizabeth. "Ask him what he wishes. See what a pathetic louse you have made. Ask him Elizabeth, rather he wishes death, or wishes a life of being controled by me."

She knew that he thought she was weak. He thought that that would be worse than death itself. Or did he?

Ray Jones

What were they saying? That somehow weak, insecure Pepper was the mistress of the vampire... Elizabeth? How could that be? It didn't make any sense. Was it another trick, he wondered, or was it, somehow, the truth? Ray looked from one woman to the other. Elizabeth, so strong and powerful, so dominant, was now yielding submissively to the woman he had wondered about turning into a mistress. Pepper, so weak and insecure, so submissive, was now forcing Elizabeth, his mistress, to surrender. The thought of it was confusing, and erotic. If she was more powerful than Elizabeth...

But his surrender wasn't what they were looking for was it? They were offering to make him one of them. He would be their equal, not their slave. Did they want to make him like Elizabeth, so brutally dominant? That was his old life, the one he had been pulled out of and now felt he had escaped from. Or did they want him to be like Pepper, so sensitive and submissive? That behavior left him cold. It was neither what he had experienced or what he wanted to experience. His mind reeled in indecision, at once willingly owned by these women and rebelling against their offer. He could not bare the thought of being without Elizabeth, and maybe even Pepper now she was seen in a new light, but he could not be what they said.

In the darkness outside, he heard a scream. It was a cry he had heard for several years and knew all too well - a woman was being attacked. Ray was moving before either of the two women did, before even his own thoughts had time to register on his mind.

When he reached the cry, he saw the victim, lying in the gutter, clutching a knife-wound in her side. He saw the attacker fleeing in the distance, a purse swaying from their wrist, and without pausing he gave chase. Before the end of the street he had closed on the attacker. He lept, landing with all the force of his weight and bearing the mugger to the ground. A knife skittered across the pavement as the stranger struggled to turn. Then he saw how different this person was to him. She was a woman, relatively short and filthy from life on the street. He ignored her flailing, simply grabbing her hands to stop her hurting him. Then he waited for Elizabeth or Pepper to catch up. There was only one thought on his mind. What now?

Pepper McDonald

Elizabeth was the first there, followed by Pepper. "Let me have her." Elizabeth said, before reaching down, only to be stopped by Pepper.

"No my dear. Ask your sub what he would like to do now." She was curious and intrigued as to why he had ran out here to stop one of his own. She beaconed the poor woman that had been hurt to her, handing her the satchil that was near the other woman. "Let me see the wound."

She checked it, only about an inch had gone in. "You need to go and get stictches. The hospital is around the way. GO, just tell them you were mugged, but don't tell them what you saw here tonight. IF you do, you will no longer exhist. Understood?"

The woman looked from Pepper to the others, then up at Pepper again. "Y..yes Ma'am." She said, before running into the shadows again.

"So, Ray, what shall we do now?" Her face was a look of seriousness, not friendship as it usually would be. It looked more like Elizabeths.

Ray Jones

Now the initial chase was over, Ray didn't know what to do. He might even be able to teach Elizabeth (and Pepper, he added) a thing or two about merciless aggression, but he was submissive. It was what they had made him, what he now wanted to remain. Was it possible to be both? Nothing that had happened these last few weeks was truly understandable to him, and he was tired of trying to work things out. All he knew right now was that he wanted to serve and be dominated by Elizabeth and Pepper. And they wanted to teach anyone who assaulted the innocent a lesson they would never forget.

As he shifted position, starting to rise, the woman below him began to struggle to escape. A knee to the side of the temple stunned her for a second, allowing him to stand without her moving. Then, before she could recover fully, he grabbed her by the hair and started to walk back to the house, dragging her along behind him. She struggled to be able to stand properly, but failed as their motion kept shifting her center of gravity, staggering and ripping at her scalp even more.

He kept his head bowed as he walked. "She must be taught a lesson, Mistresses," he said softly.

Pepper/Elizabeth

The women followed him into the house, Pepper smiling a smile of joy that he had passed her test, while Elizabeth smiled that he was willing to stay.

They helped him get her restraigned to the bed, but wondered if he were going to do the punnishing himself or if he expected them to punish her.

"What do you want to do now? You have her bound....now what?" Pepper asked.

Ray Jones

Ray looked at the woman on the bed, struggling desperately against her bonds. That was how he had looked, the first night. His groing thrilled to the memory. There were many things he could do, a beating, flagellation, carving a symbol into the woman's flesh - or that assault to end all assaults against a woman, rape. He could even skin one area of her body, warning her that if it happened again, she would lose more flesh. But that was not the place. He was their servant, and it was to them that the decisions went.

"Mistress," he breathed. "I am only your servant, your slave. It is not up to me to decide what must be done."

Pepper/Elizabeth

Pepper walked over to the bed, laying down, her breast mear inches from from the girls face. She leaned over and pet the girls hair, "Oh, look at her Ray, so weak, so needy....Don't you want to hurt her?"

Elizabeth went closer to Ray, whispering into his ear as she poked him with one long nail..."Or would you rather fuck her?"

They were taunting him, this they knew. They wanted to know how far he would take it to please them.

Pepper smiled, "Could you kill her Ray?" To that the girl reached out and bit Pepper's nipple sending horrid pain through her body. Pepper reached out and slammed the girls head into the head board. A bit of blood and hair clung to it as the girl shook her head. "You don't know who you are dealing with missy! Don't make me hurt you."
