You've never mispoken and not been entirely certain what it was you said that was wrong, especially in the heat of the moment? C'mon. Stop being a complete idiot.
You people are funny. You belittle someone for pointing out something that Obama actually said, then one of you brings up an accusation of Palin for something she NEVER said.
FTR, the Russia quote was part of an opening sketch on SNL and it was made by Tina Fey pretending to be Palin.
Not about something as routine as this flub.![]()
If this works, here is a videotape in which he refers to visiting 57 states. He had to stop and think about saying that number, so he apparently really did not know.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gg20LBKurDM
Sarah Palin's actual quote was almost worse than Tina Fey's statement. Here is what was actually said:
During one such interview in September of 2008, ABC’s Charlie Gibson posed this question: “What insight into Russian actions, particularly during the last couple of weeks, does the proximity of this state give you?”
To which she gave an earnest, but widely ridiculed, response: “They’re our next-door neighbors. And you can actually see Russia, from land, here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.”
The question was idiotic mind you but that doesn't make the answer not stupid it just means it was a bad question as well.
Liar. There isn't a single person alive who's never had a brain fart on something that simple. Most of us at least once have been introducing friends, or hell talking to friends and gone. "Wes. Wes. Wes!. . . . oh sorry I mean Scott." Or ran through every single name of friends we had over the years because the brain wouldn't latch on. And that's not under any pressure.
