Malderek
Chuckling softly, Malderek listened to the bards story. "Yes, yes, it would seem rather foolish wouldn't it?" he asked. "I do not have a trade in the sense you would figure. I am what is known as an alchemist, or mage. I preferr the latter of the two labels. Growing up I had always been fascinated by the magiks of sorcery, and I sought out a teacher. Little did I know that my luck would grant me the teachings of Merlin's own son. Aside from a missing cat and a few other minor spells gone awry, I learned fast," Malderek said with a wistful smile, thinking back to those days.
"I caution you. I am not keen on telling people who or what I am, but I have a feeling about you. Do not share this information with anyone," Malderek warned. "I would absolutely be delighted if you would accompany me in my journey. I have a feeling you would serve well to lift my spirits," he stated flatly. Suddenly Malderek heard a loud obnoxious question come from the bar table. "You want some of this" rang through his ears. Turning to the table, he saw a barbarian brooding over a young woman, almost harassing her. "Excuse me would you?" he asked the bard.
In an attempt to difuse the situation, Malderek strode over to the gigantic man, and tapped him on the shoulder.
