simple story idea for an newbie writer, or established writers of short strokers needing a new jumping off point:

I love the idea of new moms being immensely horny.

how about one still in hospital, practically raping the doctor, nurse, orderly...

With all due respect, I have to say that this idea is ridiculous. Have you ever been around a new mother? I'm sure that the ladies on this board can speak from personal experience, but I have been around my wife and other women after they gave birth, and I can tell you that no way in hell is sex happening before she gets out of the hospital.

First, a woman is physically exhausted after giving birth. On top of that, she is waking throughout the night to feed her newborn infant, so she is not getting caught up on her sleep very quickly.

Moreover, a woman who has had a C-section has undergone major surgery. She has an incision in her stomach sealed with staples. She is in pain, and can hardly walk. Do you think that she is thinking about sex?

A woman who has given birth vaginally has just delivered a 6-9 lb. baby through the passage where you want her to now fill with a penis. She is stretched and torn, and needs time to heal. Doctors recommend waiting 4-6 weeks before having sex again. Is she really going to be up to it in less than 48 hours?

This story only works if you make it science fiction.

It's allegedly possible for women to experience orgasm during the birth itself, and some women orgasm while nursing. A quick google of "orgasm during childbirth" and "orgasm while nursing" brings up a whole bunch of research material. I found both things far from orgasmic, but I don't get off on that level of pain. Some do, though.

So while the vaginal penetration issue might not fly, there's some grounding in reality to have her getting off from other routes.

Perhaps. But there is a profound difference between experiencing an involuntary orgasm and being so horny that she is raping the hospital staff.

A better angle would be to address the issue of horniness during the pregrancy. My wife was extremely horny until around the ninth month, when it became too uncomfortable to have sex.
I have also known couples that shut down their sexuality during pregnancy out of a misguided fear of harming the baby. That is the tension that I believe would provide the context for an interesting story.

After I had my son I was ready for a drink back then, but not sex. Tried after a couple/few weeks and there was NO WAY. I waited for about a month to six weeks before having vaginal sex again. Of course, there is always anal.

I don't know about you, but after the babies my asshole hurt almost as much as my cooter! Felt a lot like it had turned inside out...and not in a good way!
