The Night Watch

Another bloody long night! I sit there watching flicking screens showing empty stores and trying to think about my dissertation. It's no use though, the fact that Cassie dumped me always springs to the front of my mind. So what if he's a gym boy! I have a future - well I persuade myself that but who would like a nerd like me!

The job was Ok I guess - night watch on the department store, time to work and be alone - hell I even speak to the shop dummies at times!

There has been no break in for years - who'd want to steal this stuff anyhow!

Well I guess time to settle down and watch the screens

My eyes scanned the monitors briefly then returned to the reports - a wry smile moves over my face - well the weekend guys are trying to wind me up - hauntings in the store lol voices in the corridors. That won't wash on me

But what's that a shadow on the monitor??
