LOL this 2nd one is no masterpiece. Hacked out in a hurry but I kind of enjoyed it. It could sure be improved tho and it won't need one start trolls LOL. It'll be lucky to crack 4.5 and I'm being generous there.

I just glanced at the New Stories list for EH, and only 3 or 4 of the new stories have more than 25 votes. One has an incredible 229 votes from only about 4700 views, but the score is only 3.72.

We will definitely need all the luck we can get!

True, but my point was that if you win the Halloween contest, you are ineligible to win the next contest, which is Winter Holidays, not that to could Christmatize your story.

I just submitted "Dead Together". Almost 9000 words, and in Erotic Horror. A homeless girl dies, but a dying demon takes refuge in her body. I hope it's sexy and gruesome enough.

I let myself be talked into editing this for @Soixenta, and I can confirm that it's both sexy and gruesome.

I ddi that with my Senior Thesis. It was due Friday at noon. A few days earlier, I was running to lunch and ran into one of the profs.

"Are you going to get your thesis in on time?"
"I'll get it in, if I have to hand it in at 11:59 Friday."

Well, I finished it Friday morning and ran to the department offices. Handed it in (to that same prof), looked at the clock...11:59. We both laughed.

So is the deadline in US.EST? I have not (yet) cut it that close. I'm more the paranoid submit too early, like I did with my C&P story last month.
