No matter what it's called in another language, fire is fire.

Technically, the hadouken is less fireball and more thunderball, judging from Street Fighter II V. It's a ball of compressed chi energy of the Hadou variety.

Shakes his head in confusion.

Oh whatever. I've never played those game types.

Excuses himself and walks over to the bar and orders a drink.

After dancing through 4 songs, I decide it's time for a break, and step away from the pole. Damn thing's addictive! Stepping over to the bar, I find a waiter to bring me a pina colada, setting my mood for my next song request just to see how Avellan and Kay will dance to it.

Catching Cait's eyes from across the room, I give a slight nod and a wink. ;) I have no doubt she recognizes the ornery glint in my eye. :D

Looks at her with raised eyebrows.

I guess not.

Focuses for a moment then opens his eyes. Black lines of smoke appears covers his tie and jacket then the vanish along with the jacket and tie.

That better?

She grinned, then giggled at Cait's comment.

"Lovely," she beamed. "Now I can tell your shoulders are, in fact, as broad as your jacket made them seem."

She gently kissed Avellan's cheek and unbuttoned the first button on his shirt. She pulled away from the man slowly and looked him over, walking around him slowly, hand to mouth, as if pondering.

"Mmmhmm," she said in a deciding sort of way. "Now I can see other assets of yours too." She giggled and stepped in close again. "So... Avellan... would you mind getting me another Beaujolais Nouveau?"

A Beaujolais Noveau? Sure.

Gets what she asks for and brings it to her.

Hooking one leg around the pole she grabs hold of it with both hands, undulating against it, letting her head tip back and her long tresses drape down her back.

She swirled the wine, inhaled its fumes, then sipped it.

"To be honest, I've never had one of these," She giggled. "I just... always wanted to... quite sweet..."

She traced her fingertips across where she imagined his collarbone would set as she made her way to the couch. Wine always made her a little loopier than hard liquor, she wasn't entirely sure why. She patted the couch beside her, sitting straight backed, waiting for him to join her.

As soon as that song stops she grabs another drink from a passing waiter, whispers something into his ear before she heads for the outside desk and looks over the ocean as this comes over the speakers.

Sits down beside her and leans back.

Never had alcoholic beverages. All my drinks are either coffee, water, soda, or anything else that I want at that time.

Puts his arm around Kay's shoulders.

"Quite the cautious type... or... alcohol probably turns your moods faster than when you're in control..." she muses. She leans into that void between his triceps and his ribcage.

"You never did tell me what you did for a living," she commented, glancing at him with a quirky little smile.

I manage the Island. That's what I do.

Looks at the time.

Dammit, have to go. Getting late and have a busy day tomorrow.

Gets up and kisses Kay on the cheek.

We'll have to continue this tomorrow. Hope to see you then.

Walks out of the Outlook and vanishes into the night.

"Oh... okay... See you Avellan," she called after him.

She watched him go and sighed, drinking the rest of her wine in heavy gulps. She wiped her mouth with the palm of her hand and began dancing sensually by herself... this was proven to be pointless, so she went back to her couch and lounged there, eventually falling into a deep alcohol-induced sleep.

She was, after all, always the lightweight drinker...

Finishing my drink, I watch as Avellan leaves, and Kay is left alone. I order a margarita and another glass of wine for Kay, going over to sit beside her, handing her the glass without saying a word and putting my arm around her for a comforting hug.

It seems like our party is not turning out quite like we thought, eh?

She opened a sleepy eye and stretched, yawning a little; she took the wine from Thyri and shook her head, laughing with a hint of melancholy.

"Parties never do," she sighed, hugging her friend with her free arm. "They're either too wild or... never wild enough."

Returning, she joins the ladies, "We're missing sexy men to help us party." Tips her head as this plays.

"We could have a passionate three-way orgy and make Dragon watch..." she suggested: she was obviously inebriated, so much that her inner thoughts were being verbalized.

She grinned toothily and sipped her wine.
