The Outlook

She rose from the ocean, slicking back her wet hair, hauling the majority of it over her shoulder and wringing water from it before flipping it back. The water that had been covering her recedes, leaving nothing more than droplets to follow the lines of her body as she walked ashore, reaching for the towel she had left a safe distance from the water. Starting at her head, she briskly rubbed her body down, removing access water from her skin and patting down her suit before she flung the towel around her neck, once reaching for her cover up, drawing it on. A quick glance up at the Outlook proper and she was headed that way, absentmindedly rubbing her hair as she went.

Cait reached the top of the stairs, giving the room a once look over.

"Morning, Raven and whomever else is still here."

Almost afternoon.

*The Outlook seems a bit quiet today...empty...but it calls to me.

Helping myself to a mug of coffee I find a seat near a window with a lovely view of the rolling waves below and settle in. Ice blue eyes gaze out, drinking in the power and the peace*

slips in silently...sheer, white summer dress, bare shoulder...the hem swishing about white fishnet wrapped calves...barefoot otherwise

*Gaze shifts to watch the swing of a hem, follow the line of a calf down to a graceful ankle. A whisp of a smile curves one corner of my full lips thinking of all those little squares of bare flesh peeking between the mesh of fishnet*

feeling her eyes on me...suddenly very aware of each thread...from the oh-so-fine mesh at my ankles, to higher, as it stretches...aware of the soft wisking sound as I move to the bar, my favorite waitress already with my drink and a blush...leaning back against the bar, just...watching

*Slowly crossing one leg over the other I let my sandal dangle from my toes, swaying back and forth gently. Steam from my mug drifts before my eyes as I raise it to savor the hot liquid within, my gaze still moving over her...the curve of a thigh hinted at through sheer white cloth, the swell of a hip*

sighing silently...an inner smile...unable to be patient enough to coax her to me...letting my hips lead my body to her, instead...a bold finger finding a lock of her hair, twirling slowly

May I join you?

*setting my mug down on a sidetable I scootch to one side of the comfy chair with a hint of mischief in my eyes and smile up at her...a long fingered hand patting the seat beside me*

By all means...I would welcome your company

Like carp I feel....

I prefer Talapia...but if you want carp I imagine the chef can come up with something *sends Raven a silly grin*

No, I mean I FEEL like carp, not I want carp...

a smirk as I slip into the comfy chair, turning my back to rest against one plush arm, stretching my legs across you, to rest on the opposite...

Thats much nicer, I think, don't you?

Hello Cait, nice to see you again

*Turning slightly toward Vail with a bit of a wriggle so our bodies fit nicely together, one hand falls naturally to rest just above her knee fingertips lightly tracing the lines beneath the cloth of her dress*

That's much better. I've always been a big believer in snuggling with friends.

*glancing toward Raven I offer a repentant smile* Forgive me...why are you feeling badly?

sighs contentedly...nuzzling against Pretty Weaver's neck...the scent of warmth and clean and the tickling of her hair against my cheek...yes...contentment

*pats him on the hiney* Dude.. we need to see about getting you a life. *kisses his cheek*
:p

I walk towards the Outlook and arrive at the pier. I inhale the fresh air and sigh in satisfaction. Walking down the pier, I gaze out at the ocean.
