The Outlook

*shaking sand from my bare feet I quickly climb the stairs to the Outlook eager to catch a view of the moon from its heights. Pale hands brush silvery hair from my face as I stop just inside the door, an excited almost innocent smile lighting my face*

Sorry to intrude...but, have you seen that moon?

*a flush colors my cheeks and small white teeth catch my lower lip*

You'll have to excuse me, I get a bit carried away when the moon is that beautiful.

I saw it earlier. Makes me want to write sexy threads, but no one seems to be cooperating.

*smiles and nods* myself I am a solitary..preferring to be to myself with what I believe..socirty nowaday is quick to judge so..yeah...

*smiles and sips her drink

*sips my scotch*

Perfectly understandable. Yes, people just love to rush to judgment and hate what is not "like" them. The funny thing is that if they were to take a moment and compare the beliefs they would find that the primary tenants are remarkably close. Even closer examination would show them what is written in the Bible is far from an original work.

Okay, so I proposed this idea to someone before, but...A guy caught in the middle of a war between heaven and hell, yada yada, angel and devil girls fighting each over over him. The trouble begins with a book. The first line is "Nothing is inherently good or evil."

And that it's been altered repeatedly over the last couple of millenia by kings and priests.

*nods* most of society is in My opinion afraid to go against things that they dont understand..but I wont push what I believe onto others and all I ask from them is not to judge me on mine *smiles and looks out over the water

"Everything is permitted"?

It has been a pleasure to meet you,Jim maybe we can talk again sometime but for me the night calls me to bed:)

*stands and with a small wink and bow walks back out ionto the shadows and once more becomes one with the night

I agree completely with you. Furthermore, matters of faith are just that. True faith cannot be argued against and is to be respected. This opinion does not always sit well with my colleagues.

*Walks over to her, drink in hand looking at the water."

Reminds me of home. May I sit?

*bends to kiss Raven's cheek as I pass, leaving behind a faint scent of the sea and vanilla.

Taking a seat where I can see both sky and surf I curl my feet beneath me and settle in*

A good philosphy to have. One not many can abide by. It seems that most 'religions' are based on converting others. I simply wish to believe as I believe and be left alone.

I've come to the following conclusion years ago. Monotheistic religions (as opposed to nontheistics like Buddhism that worship a concept and the originator of that concept) all state the same thing. If you don't worship their god, you're going to hell. What none of them get is...it's all the same god o.o

*chuckles softly, leaning my chin on my hand as I gaze out the window*

I am afraid I am a terrible disappointment to my very conservative family...but I like who I am so much more since I broke away from those ties.

But such a serious subject on a night such as this.

*grins and listens intently for a moment longing to hear wolfsong*

I need some more RP.

Padding of feet across sand...lone girl standing by water's edge, draped in black...everything but the baby blue timberlands....almost a repeat of yesterday's outfit...yet...not. The pants are cut a bit higher in the waist, the shirt is a fitted black sweater....Wind whips curls recklessly.

*stepping out onto the decking I gaze down at the figure standing where surf meets sand, my pulse speeding up. A pale hand meets full lips and a kiss wings its way across the distance toward her.

A glimmer of mischief and a swirl of grey silk and woman becomes mist whisking off into the night*

The scent of vanilla and musk whispers toward a sensitive nose. I turn, eyes going toward the deck. She was here...and now she is gone. I wonder...Feet carry me back down the beach.

Sounds interesting but I dont think I can do a furry thread..now if ya had a thread without a furry I could possibly go for it:)

Lol. At the moment, the only non furry threads I want to redraft are either anime or video game based. And they're usually the kind where I strip the character's canon away from them, leaving just the character, and put them in an interesting situation (in the case of Carerra, a college student summoning her while trying to summon an angel)

Well, I do have an idea that I'm trying to think of an intro for of a guy who steals a prototype ship (airship designed for combat). Maybe he gets followed by a soldier girl?
