Reappears in the outlook, taking a seat at a table staring pensively out over the waves. He wonders what today will bring.

She wandered into the Outlook, headed straight for the bar to get a cup of coffee, which she took outside to drink and enjoy the morning.

Green eyes find her, and a slight smile tuggs at his lips. He rises smoothely coming over to her, hand on her arm, lips finding her cheek. "Good morning m'lady." he says.

At his first touch, she turned her head, smiling, leaning close to kiss his cheek as well, "Good Morning, Glad. Looks like a promising day. Did you sleep well?"

He shrugs, "When I finally got to sleep, yes I guess I slept alright." he says eyes meeting hers, "Thank you for your company last night....I feel honored so many have made me feel like I'm not alone as I deal with the various pressures of the real world." he says pulling out a chair to sit down, his grape juice before him as it typically is.

"I was honored to be in the right place at the right time," she sipped her coffee and looked out of the seemingly calm ocean this morning, feeling its serenity seep into her soul before she turned her look back on him, "You're never, ever alone Glad. You have too many friends to allow that to happen."

He nods sipping his juice, "You are a sweet woman... do you ever know in your head that you are not alone but still in your heart you have that fear or that you might be alone?" He asks his face thoughtful.

Cradling her cup between her hands, she smiled gently. "Convincing your heart what your mind already knows, isn't easy. Sometimes, it seems downright impossible. But... we have two choices, my friend. We can give into our fears and let them rule us or we accept they are there, work through them and just live each day the best we can. I stopped being afraid of being alone. I stopped worrying about it. I just realized that I was living alone and doing a damn pretty good job of it. So, why worry?"

Your words are wise." he says softly his face thoughtful. "I am starting to learn these things and have been for months, change is not easy."

She leaned over to kiss Glad's cheek again, gently squeezing his arm as she did. "Wisdom comes from experience is all. And no, change isn't easy but we'd do well to embrace it."
