The Path to Glory ooc casting call

Answer 1; To distract an opponent using empathy you must exploit what he is feeling. They will feel nothing when you scan them unless they have mental powers much the same as yours. It will be more effective outside of battles than inside. However it can be used to predict a future action on your part. I should have clarified that not only do you feel his mental emotion but his physical emotion as well.

Answer 2; yes you are immune to your own spell, however casted against you..., it is a simply spell to summon requireing a focused thought, (one uninterrupted post.) You can have a post before a fight you know is comming that is something to the akin like you are preaparing the spell. Then cast it in a preceding post, or you can try to summon it during the battle in which you cannot be attacked for one post. Naturally it will be easier to prepare it ahead of time, however their may be a time when you are caught off guard. If you are attacked you, at current level, loose all the work you had done and have to start over. Your post can be filled with depth or it can be as simple as 'Prepareing to fire Searing Light.' If you are fighting another character not played by me you will most deffinately want to prepare ahead of time seeing as how they do not want to get hit with this spell.

For Everyone:

If you are hit with a spell by any character I will handle most effects, allong with how devostated you are afterwords. Things like feelings and mental attacks are left to your discretion. I will be fair to all and equal suffering damage as stated in the powers that are given. You will have to trust me that I will be fair and not single out one character for punishment or glory. My touch will be loose but must be adheared to. As such I will try not to kill you but if you are in a wrong position, such as knocked out or off balence, and are hit full force with a shotgun in the back of the head...there is not much I can do. Mulitple characters will probably come into play for this thread and you can always create another one if killed. However doing so will start you at lvl 1 again. Just trust me to be fair and I shall be, I shall respond off of your own posts and please you cannot make yourself invincible so take some hits on your own.

Character to follow

Name: Illyana Ellore
Group: Liberator, Feild Commander
Age: 19
Race: Human Were-Tiger
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 135
Hair Color: Dark Red, with black stripe
Hair Style: Long and wavy
Eye Color: Ice Blue (cats eye)
Weapons: 2 Acidic Titainium Alloy Wakasashi’s (Explained below.)

History: Contrary to popular belife Lycanthrops have been wondering the world for ages. One such Lycanthrop is Illyana, she obtained the curse/blessing when she was only two monthes old. A Were-Tiger attacked her parents and were killed and eaten by the creature, she suffered a minor scratch from the Tiger but was forgotten after the cat had its fill. At first she survived in the wilderness, her tiger form taking complete control of her at night and hunting and salvaging for food. It was by sheer luck that she survived starvation. As she aged and began to understand herself she simply thought that everyone was like her and that all animals could transform into humans. It was through this thinking that she eventually began to learn how to control the times she shifted into her Tiger form. When she turned six she had found she had almost complete control over the transformation, no longer was the curse in control of her, she had beaten it and could transform almost at will. However, she found that she could not completely transform during the day and it was only at night that she could become a full tiger. Her half for did give her advantages to speed, agility, cunning and jumping but taxed her heart and body if left in that state for too long. When she turned eight she was found by Lacy and Steven Ellore, they had a daughter of the same age named Rebecca. The two children instantly became friends and the parents decided to adopt her into their family. Lacy and Steven owned a large international business making most of the chemicals that create many energy class weapons. They sent Illyana to school where she excelled in physical activities and history. She craved knowledge and the need to run and set her heart poundeing excited her to no end. She was also the loving friend of her now sister Rebecca, separating the two of them was like trying to pry open a bank vault with a crow bar. As they grew Illyana, feeling the need for more physical activity than she was able to get at school, Aprenticed under a master of Yagyu Shinkage-Ryu, focusing on smaller faster blades to accent her speed as a Were-Tiger. At the age of sixteen she bested her master, a man who many thought could never be defeated. For this triumph her master, sensing a troubling time ahead in the nearby future commissioned the swords she now uses.

Appearance/Demeanor: A typical Anime cat girl, without the ears and tail. She exudes pure sexuality, legs and torso are formed perfectly. Her natural breasts are large and full around 36D. She has a perfect bronze tan not to dark but not too light, however on closer inspection one can see the truth of her, its very faint but patches of the skin are slightly darker than the rest of her. The patteren coincides with that of a Tiger and creates a mysterious shadow effect giving her even more sexual prowess. From a distence she looks like trouble but as you get to know her you realize she is a menace. Illyana is quick to anger but easily cooled with a nice gift and apology, Jewelery useally does the trick. A special note on jewelery, Illyana loves and craves it. She has a large case, about the size of a small child filled with it. She has been known to wear more than is absolutely nessacary on a regular basis. A common phrase spoken in the Ellore household is, ‘Check the jewel store for the cat.’ Her collection is impressive and better than most giving her the nickname by one magazine, ‘The Jewel Queen of New York.’ She is flighty and often late to meetings due to the nature of her love for jewels, or any shinny object for that matter. However when hers or her sister’s life is threatened she focuses on that single matter. Fighting with all her focus and strength until she is dead or the battle is won. She has a variety of different outfits but normally can be seen in a black, way to short skirt, with a red heart on the front and red lips on the back, with a white blouse useally tied in a small knot at the bottom to expose her midrift and unbuttoned at the neck line to show her cleavage, almost always and only when the occasion calls for it does she wear any sort of stockings, perfering the feel of jeweled black sandels, with rubies and sapphire’s to match. At all times she has her swords on her, crossed on her lower back just above the curve of her hips and held on by a special belt with a diamond buckle.

The Weapons; These swords are made with a powerful Titainium Alloy impervious to the brittle nature of the nature and acids. In the center of the blade itself is a twisting tube that can hold about enough acid to melt a man to his bones. It is pressurized and releases from a small hole near the tip of the blade, at all times out of battle the hole is closed off with a cap the fits over it. Only when the cap is removed, which is done so by the design of the sheaths, and a button on the handle is pressed will the acid release. I realize that these are increabily strong and as such they are Power number one for this character.

2. Gale Force Wind lvl 1; On a slightly windy day less than 5mph winds Illyana can summon a wind over 50mph in an instant. On a day with less than 1 mph winds she can build a wind to the same speed in about ten seconds of concentration. She can use the wind to blow objects, people or even herself to increase her jumping distence.

3. Control Water lvl 1; With this power she can turn a small amount, no more than 5 gallons worth of water in to any for she wishes. Plus she can move it about as she sees fit. In mere moments it can be ice and just as fast transformed into searing hot steam. Doing so is quite taxing on the body and can only be done about three times a day lit time.

This is the character that I will be playing on a regular basis, she is quite strong and very difficult to beat. Therefore she will be a commander in the Liberator’s resistence. Her strong suit is not leading from behind the scenes but leading from the field and setting the example to her men. I have not decided if I am going to put Scarlet's character in the same group yet or not, but it would make for an interesting combination.

We need more characters to take either the side of Heaven or Hell, we now have to Libs and a Survivalist. Though I do not baulk at the idea of playing many characters in both heaven or hell it would be nice if we had some players doing it instead.

Oh my... Illyana sound deliciously yummy! 36D? *Drooling!* Seriously... Description well put! :cattail:

Now... I don't know where I recall this. Don't cats hate water? It doesn't have to do anything in here, it just came in my head while reading your chara.

Now down to my part, the searing light preparation due to a fight makes things very complicated. It lets the other oponent know that the character is either afraid or presumes weak. Tho the idea is NOT bad at all. But I would suggest that when approached with such situation, let it be played by a NP chara (like a one time chara or in a scene) or played by you so it can do enough damage so it doesn't kill the chara.

I don't want to give away too much of Sev... I'm actually doing everything spontaneously, but hopefully you'll see where I'm trying to go with him. Bringing Illyana makes me stir to bring a female chara in as well! Or... a male chara that brings a sexual intimate yet war like competetion among each other.

Sev... unfortunately, can't do anything! D'oh!

You are correct about one thing, house cats are ones that normally hate water, but a Tiger swims on a constant basis.

Searing Light is best used in surprise or in a death blow when the opponent is stunned or knocked out yes it will be difficult but as it gets stronger so does you ability to control it and summon it. At lvl 2 for instance you can summon the spell from lvl 1 as easy as you could stike with your sword. Searing Light is a very devostating and sometimes a life saving power as I have found out in many paper games. Yes for now it will be difficult to fight other players with the spell but if the players are playing correctly which I hope all of them do, if they cannot detect energy gathering around another player they will have to play as if they do not know what is going on.

Oh, Illyana thanks you for the compliments.

Oh, I have to join this. And to do so, I'm going to base a character heavily on myself for the mental attitude. So this is going to be fun.

Name: Lt. Gary Masters
AKA: "The First Horseman," "The Mad Knight"
Blood Type: AB+
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown
Hails From: Georgia
Height: 6'2"
Age: 38
Faction: Heaven Sent

Bio: Gary is, to be blunt: Crazy. He grew up in a Navy home, but it was loving and he had plenty of attention. But he suffered from delusions. Ideas that he should rule the world. He would scoff at the ideas of world leaders, and constantly thoughts about better ways to rule countries and lead people. Because he spent so much time thinking about such things, he became almost a natural leader. He joined the US Navy right after College. High test scores and his efforts in a few minor scuffles lead him to the rank Lieutenant. He had planned on making it a career move, but left. He's aligned himself with the Heaven Sent, and raised himself to leading groups of them. He suffered a mental breakdown from the disproving of his religion. Although before this he could likely have fought with the Liberators for the freedom of mankind, the Heaven Sent group has fostered his madness to turn him into a weapon.

Gary has dependency issues, and requires validation from others. His face is covered in self-inflicted scars, and though at one point he may have been considered handsome he thinks of himself as ugly. He's heavily introverted with outburst of violence and deep brooding. Although he's intelligent, he's become easily manipulated by the Heaven Sent. He's been known to tear down support for them only to turn back and praise them for the very things he hates about them.

Gary is good at hand-to-hand fighting, can use most forms of projectile and beam weapons. He's also a good swordsman, and carries a sword he forged himself. Gary is muscular, and spends a great deal of his time either training or working out. He's also near-sighted, and wears glasses. He dresses in a uniform of black trimmed with red, with a white overcoat.

Gary could likely be coaxed out of his madness. He recognizes the fact that he's mad, and could control it, and does during many of his outbursts, rebelling against the group that's trying to use him and sometimes slaying it's more zealotous believers. However, seeing no one else to accept him, he usually turns right back into killing for them, sometimes becoming one of their more radical upholders until he can no longer support that which he does not believe.

Well?
Personally, I like him.
He fights for a group, but could be swayed to the Liberators or even Demonic Graces if they tried to get him to join them. He's a lot how I see myself in that situation. Joining with the "Forces of Good" but unable to hold himself to what they stand for. Leading to a mental breakdown that swings between trying his hardest to support what he doesn't believe in to forcing him to uphold his beliefs in violent outburts of death against anyone he can get his hands on. Of course, a few words and maybe some drugs to get him under control, and off he goes again to kill for what he doesn't believe in, but doesn't really see any other option to.

Yay! The purple ninja with a bra has joined too. Grand, it will be an honor. Definitely with Derek, Illyana, and Gary worked up in the millitary, the Deities will have what they expected.

Grand, good chara... sounds just like you. :p And, you're not the only on with a character based one yourself. Mine is nearly 90% about myself. ;) How is that?

...

A bra? Oh, that's it. When I find your little brat, I'm gonna give him such a spanking!

90% is you? Jeez, what's the other 10%? The fact he's not a pervert?

I usually base characters on my own mentality, but this is actually the first one that will do exactly what I would do in a given situation. About the only change between me and Gary is he's trying to conform to something he isn't because a lot of the shades of gray vanished from his life.

Its always good to see the big GM taking an interest in the little people of Lit. I like your character and powers will be comming sometime in the near future. There are now four I would like at lease one person to play as a character in the Demonic Graces and we can get started. So anyone reading this thread who is thinking about joining now is the time to do so. Other characters are welcome to join later on but to get in on the very beginning you need to join soon.

Once again Welcome GM

Big GM? Little People?

Unless there're leprechauns about, I don't know what you're talking about. I'm still horrible at this crap. Ohhh! Powers!

Neato.

By the way, I just thought I should let you know: Gary has no survival instinct. He's known to throw himself into the fray hoping for death. As he's fond of saying, "I don't believe in fighting for Jesus or the Devil. I just fight to die, because there's nothing left for me to believe in. My Gods are dead and Fate's been proved real."

Then Grand, I think you should play for the Demonic Graces. Think about it. If Gary has no means of living and always throwing himself on the line of death, then wouldn't the illusions of a great life and/or pleasure by Demonic Graces (as Rone stated from their side) a comfortable side for Gary?

Dude... I'm sorry but the bras in the middle east... Egypt, Saudi, Kuwait, etc, in the 80's looked like the veils and... your ninja face-cover looks like that. *Shrugs*

Now, if there isn't anyone joining the Demonic side (cats! hyb!) ...then I'm gonna take the priveleage to open a secondary character in the bad side.

Not really. You have to understand: Gary's a decent guy. Got a terribly "good" person. But he's decent, and loyal. The reason he keeps throwing himself into situations that are likely to kill him is because he doesn't see anything worth living for.

This isn't about a great life or pleasure. It's about simply having nothing good left in life. The recoming of Jesus and war of faith really hurt him bad because it negates everything he held personally dear to himself. A faith he saw as blindingly wrong is true. It means everything he stood for was just wrong.

All his values, hopes, dreams, beliefs are meaningless now. So he turns to what's "right" and tries to do it. But he can't. It's against everything he believes in. So it pushes him into this realm of insanity. He was crazy to begin with, but it wasn't anything that manifested itself in destructive ways.

Now he just pushes himself for the kill. He wants to die because he sees what is supposed to be the way of things, but it's an ideal he literally can't take to heart. It's something he just finds so morally revolting he stood against it his whole life.

The Demonic Gates can influence him by playing on his madness, much like the Heaven's Sent does. The Heaven's Sent, as I believe I read earlier, relies more on their God and is militarily weaker. Here's a strong military leader who has no porblem killing and a mental disorder. They're pushing him to lead what they have, and they keep trying to manipulate him, even though he's dangerous, because he's a powerful weapon. The Demonic Gates can play on his madness by showing how he doesn't believe in what he follows, relating that to being a bad person, and doing the same thing to him that Heaven's Sent is. But he'll act the same way. He'll take them to heart, find them revolting, and have period where he fights against them and periods where he upholds them, unable to stick to one.

The Liberators are the only ones that can actually get him to have any care for his life by showing him he doesn't have to hold himself to something he finds wrong. If they can convince him to just keep believing what he did before, he'll not only start to care about living again, but he'll actually pull himself back together and be a better fighter. He won't have period of rallying against them, because they don't stand for anything he finds wrong.

The whole reason he fights for the Heaven Sent now is because he was trying to do the "right" thing. But he can't fully believe it's right. It leads to a lot of depression and anger. It switches between the HS for what they are and believe in, and them himself for being "wrong."

He's a shade of grey in a black and white world.

In a way, the Demonic Gates can't tempt him, because he doesn't see them as standing for anything he believes in. And if that's true, what can they really offer him that isn't empty? Power's empty because it's power to uphold an ideal he can't uphold. Pleasures of the flesh are empty because in his current mental state, there could never be anything deeper than just lust, and as far as he's concerned lust is something you use for masturbation, and sex should have deeper feelings behind it. He doesn't really care about money or material things, because how is he to enjoy them if he can't sit still? And the reason he can't sit still is because everything is wrong, and he can't accept it long enough to enjoy anything.

The Heaven's Sent group would have to realize this, and just keep sending him out to fight. It's when he just sits somewhere that he stagnates the most under the ideals he finds offensive and just starts killing those people around him.

Really, the only group that can tempt him is the Liberators, because all they're fighting for is freedom from two things he sees as sickeningly wrong. They can tempt him with the easy and working temptation of letting him believe whatever he wants as long as it isn't what they're fighting against.

Time for The GM to recive his powers, going off of your character's demeanor something of the Healing or Defensive powers would be a total waste on him since he would probably never use them so I have determined that he will be able to lay waste to his oponents with strictly attack powers.

1. Shatter lvl 1; With this power you can break any non living item within ten feet of you and no bigger than 1 foot in diameter. It can be seperated into many different parts but no more than 3 items can be targeted. The peices explode as if blasted apart with a bomb, so naturally something in close proximety to you or your opponent would be devostateing if the right item was destroyed. Your distence is limited so it is best not to destroy anything that is too strong and close to you. It can be used twice a day lit time, in battle it can be accessed almost immiediotly, however, some items such as those blessed with holy or demonic powers may not break. I will take care of any items that break or not when the spell is cast. Also some items will not break right away and depending on the situation may need further concentration or just a few moments in lit time.

2. Rain of Fire lvl 1; Granted by the Heaven Sent bolts of fire rain from the sky strikeing an area 10 feet in diameter. At current strength it lasts for twenty seconds and the bolts are relitvely week. Easily flameble objects are instantly aflame if in the effected area, such as cloth, tinder, flameable liquids and the like. Harder objects such as boards of wood or people, are burned badly but little else, about second degree if struck on skin or clothing. Metal and glass objects are virtually unaffected. It can be used once a day lit time.

3. Control Fire lvl 1; Granted by the Heaven Sent, its ability should be used in junction with Rain of Fire. Any fire, started by magick or natural means can be used under your direct control. No more than a five foot diameter can be controlled and you can only control it up to a distence of twenty feet. At current strength you cannot add fuel to the fire with out using a material means, gas or explosives come to mind. You can only control the fire for as long as there is fuel to burn. This can be used three times a day lit time.

I have decided that everyone will get one extra power that is only useable in dire circumstances and once a week in lit time, these are those powers below listed by character.

Derek Sheilds:
Time Stop lvl 3; Stopping time is no easy task and can only be done for a short period, twenty seconds for you is but nothing in real life durring this time. Any other power or skill you possess can be used during this time, however if you use a physical attak on an opponent time will instantly start again, but if you fire from your weapon(s) the bullets will stay until the twenty seconds are up. As you can see this can be a very deadly power. However you may only use skills or items that take less that twenty seconds to accomplish. Use it wisely since after time starts again you will be temporailly weekend for the twenty seconds that you stopped time. Most if not all characters will be affected by this.

Sevenern Seth
Mind Break lvl 3; By concentrateing the sheer force of your mental prowess and creature within a twenty foot radious is instantly tapped. Weeker creatures minds instantly are shattered, Stronger creatures can fight it but unless they possess strong mental abilities, divine help or demonic help they will be destroyed as well. The effect makes them insane for one day lit time, durring which they will unleash anything they have at whatever suits them. Characters will know if they are affected by me and if so they are doomed, might as well get started on another character.

Illyana Ellore
Dance of Death; Entering this state causes uninteruppted attacks to pour forth from Illyana. Both physical and her magick attacks in which ever form she is in. In this state she is nearly unbeatable, luckily for most the dance is only about three minutes long, however most are dead or dying by then.

Lt. Gary Masters
Gravity Bomb lvl 1; If you are wondering why your power is at lvl 1 instead of lvl 3 like the others it is because at lvl 3 it would seriously over power everyone. A small ball of intense gravity, about an inch in diameter flies from your finger tips, it almost always strike the target and when it does...Splat! The gravity around the target, no bigger than an inch in diameter again, undergoes an intense gravity shift. Gravity around the target increases very quickly, tearing the area to shreads, surrounding the target is also affected and is pulled to the area, after the taget area is destoryed the Bomb explodes outward with immense force for about ten feet away from its epicenter. Quite deadly. Only Gods are immune.

Now all of you can see why these powers are to only be used once a week in lit time and only then if the situation is dire. So far a recap or powers

Lt. Gar Masters
Power 1; Shatter Lvl 1
Power 2; Rain of Fire Lvl 1
Power 3; Control Fire Lvl 1
Ultimate Power 1; Gravity Bomb lvl 1

Sevenern Seth
Power 1; Empathy Lvl 1
Power 2; Searing Light Lvl 1
Power 3; Runaway
Ultimate Power 1; Mind Break Lvl 3

Derek Shields
Power 1; Telekinisis Lvl 1
Power 2; SMS-HBG
Power 3; 6 HFS
Ultimate Power 1; Time Stop lvl 3

Illyana Ellore
Power 1; Two Wakasashi's, acid injector
Power 2; Gale Force Wind Lvl 1
Power 3; Control Water Lvl 1
Ultimate Power 1; Dance of Death

Almost all characters are about the same strength I am just giving a list and they are in no particular order.

One more character and we can get started, please join!!!!!

RandomVillian: "Ha-ha! My Demonic LightSword of Lost Souls is immune to your Shatter!"
Gary: "What about your wristwatch, fucker?"
RandomVillian: "Wha-Argh!" *drops sword*
Gary: "Amen, motherfucker."

I love Gravity Bomb.
But Shatter is cool, too. "No, I don't think you'll be shooting me. Not with that bullet, at least." BAM! And the Fire powers are awesome.

Of course, that means I just have to keep uttering the phrase "Play with Fire and you're gonna get burned."

Heh. I have so many questions about these powers. (Okay, I kind of skimmed earlier. Sue me.)

How do they level? Can we learn more? If I change sides, can Heaven's Sent 'revoke' the powers they granted me? "Aww. They took away my Rain of Fire, lvl 10: Hurricane of Lava."

Is there a level when Gravity Bomb can affect Gods? "Take this, Jesus! Gravity Bomb- Level Three!"

And, of course, if Mind Break makes someone insane, what if it gets used on an already insane person, like Gary? "I have become enlightened! Crap. The Hokey Pokey was what it's all about."

Ok, how's this:

Name: Ricardo Tornada
Alias: Ricky T
Nationality: Latin American
Height: 5' 6"
Eyes: Green
Hair: Black
Age: 21 (looks older)
Faction: Survivalist
Armor: None
Weapons: hand held tazer, police baton (tonfa), can of mace, .38 revolver (with 4 shots left, all liberated from a deceaced police officer), Uzi 9mm submachine gun (with no ammo), entire case of 12 gague shotgun shells, hand made zip gun, switchblade knife, 4 in meat cleaver (more for intimidation and a tool than for fighting)

History:
The sole survivor of a car accident when he was seven, Ricardo grew up in the overburdened, overcrowded and under funded child welfare system. After years of marginal care and education, Ricardo finally ran away, vanishing into the urban blight of Los Angeles, California. Now known on the streets as 'Ricky T', Ricardo grew up fast in the school of survival and self preservation. Although his life has been harsh and he is no stranger to street crime or violence, Ricardo never gave into the self destruction of drugs or mindless anger. Instead, Ricky learned how to survive and keep his few friends alive as well as a sneak, thief, conniver and pickpocket. His hard life had made him cynical and sarcastic, but his one goal has been to endure, not only for himself, but for those he helped drag along out of the gutters. In the past, Ricardo has served several stints in Juvinile Hall and other low level detention centers for vagrancy, breaking and entering and the like, but he was never considered a violent offender. It was in these places, where Ricky actually learned the more refined and skilled methods of survival from other convicts. The streets and centers taught Ricky to be a first class scrounge, sneak and jurry rigger. He learned to drive as well as basic auto mechanics in a Juvinile work release shop just before the fall. Then came the factions...

In only a year, the whole world went mad. Anything he might have hoped to accomplish was dashed to bits when the city he lived in simply stopped. Friends and cohorts were either killed or scattered to the four corners of the world by the factions. When the disaster fell, Ricky managed to see the trouble brewing and escaped, vanishing into the underside of the city he knows like the back of his hands. Ricardo has nearly a dozen 'hideouts' and is getting quite inovative on making his life livable and protecting himself as he tries to cope with what's happening all around him without giving into the maddness of the streets or the Factions. Now he leads a daily life, just trying to do what he's always done, survive.

Demeanor:
Ricky never graduated high school or recieved his GED, but he is highly intelligent and clever. He has always been sarcastic, but the last year has made him even more cynical. He is not a 'bad kid' and doesn't see himself as a criminal of any sort, but he has no qualms about doing whatever it takes to survive, especially if what he believes is 'right'. He is contemptuous and untrusting of any authority figures, but if one could win over his trust, Ricardo is willing to do whatever he can for those individuals. Oddly enough, Ricardo is not a violent sort, preferring to run or talk his way out of a situation. He is no coward, but he well knows the awesome powers the Factions can wield and is not willing to go toe-to-toe with them. If he is backed into a corner, he will attack with a ferosity which borders on suicide to escape.
Although not particuarilly religeous, he does hold some shreads of Roman Catholisism close from his early upbringing. However, he sees the Factions as unbelievably self-righious, wasteful and equally destructive, seeing little diffenence in their methods.

Well let's see GM, as for the most improtant part of your rambleing, no if you leave a particular faction they cannot strip your power unless you want them to. you have free will, these powers were given to you by that method and only threw that method can they be taken away. Next, It will take a very powerful person weilding Gravity bomb at its max level to harm a god with it. And another, yes you do learn more powers with time, using either items, or just from experience your current powers will grow and more will be given to you that suit your character at times you will be asked to choose which one(s). All is determined by me and your fights, fights that are well written on both sides and you survive, winning does not matter just life, I will grant new powers as I see fit. If you fight a truly hard battle that nearly kills you but you are the victor you might gain a new power. More often than not however, you will find money and items rather than new powers but they will be given.
No, Mind Break will not do that. In the case of you being affected by it, it would send you to total lunacy, not just mental depresion and lack of self worth. You would eat bugs, kill cats, pee on homeless people, that sort of thing. You cannot control any of your actions from that point for one day or until you are dead. This also means that you might use your Gravity bomb on yourself, highly unlikely but it is possible. You will control most of what your crazy character would do unless I step in with a post to take breif control seeing as how you have none. Unless Sho's character kills you after using his Mind Break, should the two of you fight, It will just be a funny day in the life of your character. And control would be restored with generally undamaged person. It is a way to bring some comedy into a serious thread.

As for Mantra, Powers soon to follow, I must think on them and I have to now start up the whole thread, the Title will be simple so it will be easy to find. Other characters are still welcome to join so please feel free to post here or Pm me.

"It's a good source of nutrients. Besides, you see a lot of farmers around here? Society collapsed, I believe."

"Cats? Sure, why not. I already kill my own men. What difference does a cat make?"

"The homeless? They're still around? Thought we'd drafted all of them... Hell, if I can find one I will. Like a mobile Port-A-John who can help in battle."

I get powers even thought I'm a Survivalist?? Kewel! Maybe I will survive the first battle....

Survivalists powers will be more interneral than external. Perhaps a weapon, or something that can help you hide, that sort of thing.

Cool chara Mantra, now Demon's are getting restless. ;)

Hmm... I wouldn't like the idea of killed since that will kind of destroy the character completely. Unless, there's a "continue" button I can press to start over. ;)

Rone, I don't know if you know me and Grand... A lunatic against a 7 year old? (We actually have a bond like that, he's the crazy guy who mumbles crazy things and I... well... anyways, I don't know what would happen. Right Grand?

Now I'm a little confused. Mind Breaker lvl 3 would basically make any living thing crazy unless what?

And Rone, it's Severen not Sevenern lolz You put down "Ultimate Power lvl 1" what's that?

As Grand asked about the powers, so does it also mean if Sev uses his powers everyday, will it grow?

Let us know when you start it up.

There's nothing more cruel and pure than a child.

Unless it dodged, had divine protection, or mental powers to combat, Shoto.

I can see Gary now, frivolously wasting powers. "I used all my control flames to make this lovely fillet mignon. Oh well!"

And powers seem to level with some experience only the Mighty GM knows! *spooky music!*

Speaking of Divine Protection...Just how much is the J-Man watching my back? Can I invoke his name for stuff?

Can I have a coin collection dangling by necklaces conected to my belt?

"In God We Trust. Now shut the Hell up and let's kick some Demon ass!"

Mental powers, hmm seems that I have them. Evilness, well you will find out soon enough. So oh Mighty Grand, if you just admited that a child is the most evil and pure, evil-er than the mightiest GrandMage... then you MUST bow infront of me!

You two are silly, but that is helpful to keep the thread nice and well balenced with silliness and seriousness.

Sorry about getting the name wrong

There is no Ultimate Power Lvl 1, however there is for everyone an Ultimate Power 1, which states what that power is and promises more Ultimate Powers to come. The better the fights the better the rewards. Now seeing as how there are only five of us I will be playing a mirad of different characters to help with a grand scheme and it will give you people to fight. I might start off one or two characters with a fight to let everyone know what I am expecting.

Grand, the typical rule of Hevean is, God helps those that help themselves. So you can invoke Jesus if you want but just like now he might not help you, but if you do then you win the battle, he might try to steal your glory. Probably part of the reason why you are so insane.

For everyone
I tried to give powers that both match the personality of the character and compliment each other, which is the reason why Scarlet as the Gun and Sho has the mental powers. Scarlet was military who had not gone crazy and Sho is a strange kid with a voice in his head. See, simple.

Mantra
Powers
1. Perfect eyesight, not really a power but a cool gift. You see everything perfectly, there is no deviation in your eyes and if you focus enough you can see things at greater distences than normal people. This means that your aim is always perfect, one of the many reasons why you were able to stay alive for so long. You have been known to dodge bullets flying through the air because you unconsciously saw then and moved to avoid. If you shoot at a stationary target you will never miss and always hit the dead center of wherever you were aiming. Moving targets are harder but as long as they are not covered in full body armor you are able to focus in on exposed areas for the best damage. It will be more usefull out of battle but it will give you a better veiw of the battle.

2. Call the Target lvl 1; This can be a really deadly power, useable three times a day, lit time, you can bring the target to the front of your face. It is only in your mind but you see it as clearly as if it was directly in front of you. Using this power can be dangerous and should only be done while under cover, the concentration forces you to stop all other actions, with time and experience using it this will become easier to control. When you use the power it will almost certainly hit the mark even if it is a moving target. Any part of the body can be targeted, very usefull in battle but very bad if caught off gaurd. You will need a break in the fighting to fully use this power, in other words you are fighting then break apart for a moment to catch each others breath. It is at that time that this power will truly shine. Once called you will see it until it is attacked, becareful becasue the eyes can be decived by tricks and such.

3. Chamealeon skin Lvl 1; This power comes from a small device you stole from an abandonded military barracks. It looks like a wrist watch but with one very cool feature, when worn your skin and clothing will transform to the perfect camofloadge to mix with your surroundings. At the barracks a computer that was still operational informed you of its use and that there are better units at other places. Unless you are moving you will easeliy be looked over by those that wish you harm. Even if you are moving it will still be very difficult to spot you. It can be used as long as the battery is charged, the battery is charaged by movement and can hold up too three charges at a time, as long as you are moving it takes an hour to gain one full charge and each charge will last about 10 minutes.

Ultimate Power 1
Light Speed Movement lvl 1; This power you discovered you had just when the trouble started, the fabric of time slowed down for you, or at least it seemed to and you were on the other side of the country by the time you figured it out. Now while it is impossible to move at the exact speed of light, you might as well be to everyones eyes. It can only be used once a week and only in dire circumstances. Since the speed of light is measured in time, should you be in a fight with Sho and you use this power at the same time he uses Time Stop you will cancel each others powers out. This power does have a weekness however, using it is exteremly tireing almost as if you sprinted a mile without stopping. You are very winded and almost to the point of throwing up. You can use it to escape or to make an nearly unblockable attack, only those that know it is comming and Deities have a chance to stop the blow.

Grand you can have any non weapon or non magic item you so choose for your character. Weapons that you currently do not have have to be given by me. Just like a paper game I will describe surroundings if you are searching for stuff but you will describe the area that you are in. That is kind of confusing. so here is something better. You will describe where your character is and if you start serching for stuff I will describe what you find. There that's better.

We Start TOMMOROW!!!!!!! YAY!!!!

Tomorrow? Aww.

You have to give up all extra weapons? Crap.
Good thing I made him good at that melee weapon.

And I am not worried about God taking credit for the multiple murders Gary performs.
