So am I a nerd or a jerk? Funny... I'm none in RL![]()

yes but not quite how I would put it as you repeated yourself by saying it that way. since the word means critical interpretation, using critique like that makes it sound like:Shotokan07 said:Today's word for me is "exegesis".
Hmm...
Hyb always thinks that when I critique his work or thoughts, I do it ina exegesis critique.
OG, did I put that correctly?![]()

maybe more like: Hyb always thinks when i critique his work or thoughts, I get an exegesis of his final product.
Although: I personally wouldnt use it in any reference to Hyb in the first place since it is actually reserved for a critical interpretation of the bible in the form of bible study, so it would only be appropriately be used like this:
A exegesis of the verse "Where no counsel, the people fall but in the multitude of counsellors safety." Proverbs 11:14, we can see that the author acknowledges the needs of mortals to have council and sees other mortals filling the need even when not qualified to provide the service. This would lead me to believe that a exegesis of this would mean to be careful who's advice you take.
*gets out from in front of the blackboard now*
ya'll can just ignore me, really... just go on.
