The Pillow Pit. (Semi-OOC flirt thread.)

I was just in NYC for vacation wow back in dec through jan .. it's been that long .. ahhhhhhhhhhhh and I'm about to be old *sigh*
 
*wanders in, limping a bit with a headache from heck but otherwise okay*

Anyone else ever tried following directions to get to a place they found out about at random and not been able to get there?
*sighs*

Oh well, least I got something accomplished today- bout a new computer to replace my desktop and hubby's laptop (it's gettin' repaired). A new Mac Mini. Kinda cute except the whole "I need USB or Firewire EVERYTHING" gets irritating.

How's everyone else?

Lucky you, my pay check goes straight to my bank and then gets distributed to all my expenses.
 
Ugh I'll be another year older Friday .. no plans gonna pretend it didn't happen heh so I don't have to be another year older.
 
you know... most kids want to be treated older. I think it's funny that that changes. Age means (usually) seniority, respect and eventual senilatity. I can't wait to be considered senile and have an EXCUSE for acting as odd as I do.

You need an excuse? I just do it anyway without one... hmm... must think of proper excuse for being strange now....
 
if anyone asks me why I act as I do, I just look at them. and they blink, and look ever-so-slightly akward, and usually don't ask again.
 
Tumbles excuse is she's crazzy about me. (Then agian that may be the behavior that makes people ask why she acts the way she does.)

Vix, if class isn't testing well maybe your throwing to many curves at them.



I went onto the Wizards of the Coast website. Big mistake now there are more books I want to get and can't afford. I need a sorce of income again.
 
Thanks Arc-Sama. Using the AV on another site and decided it was too cute not to use here too. And I've been training way too many people at work lately and they're saddling me with another later this month. *sighs*

Cats- they're not testing well cause one's an idiot and he's bringing down the class GPA.

And I have the same problem with the WotC site. Play D&D and am loosing my DM in a month :( Miss having my healer get laid 4 times in a row (its happened before- Cleric of St Cuthburt) and such nonsense. *sighs*
 
Yeah Japanese schools. Yeah I can only imagine the presure that would put on a kid.

Also on the bright side atleast you know the poeple you train have a good teacher.
 
Try ordering from Guardians of Order web site ... I have to pay $15 or $20 for shipping to Hawaii ... Cos they consider us to international ...

So I have to wait instead for distributors & warehouse for B&N to get them to order ... They don't get the stuff for several months after the release date ...

I collect the BESM stuff & some of the anime guides that they have ...

WotC & WW are easy for me to get at work ... :p

Was playing D&D actually, a cleric of St Cuthburt who my DM knew didn't have the standard "girl morals". She'd do anything a male cleric would and not mind much.
So she's in a bar with the group's dwarf fighter, he gets in a fight and she walks off back to the barkeep for a drink.
DM intros a guy hitting on her (to see what I'd do) and she strikes up a conversation about his ship. 'Nother, cuter, sailor walks over says sailor 1 is an idiot and invites her to his boat.
So she goes.
Rest of the group does there thing and the "what are you doing" comes back to me.
Roll a D20 and get a 20. Just smile and say, "Wow, that was fun."
Next turn- same thing.
Third turn- same thing.
Fourth turn- rolled a 16 and said, "well that's enough for one night. They're going to sleep now."

Rest of my group finely caught on and were staring at me, mouths agape. My DM is just laughing his ass off and the game rolled on.
Miss that cleric- she got sucked into the middle of the earth because the group's idiot theif grabbed a statuette of Lolth before making sure it was safe and I blew the reflex save.
