I DM a D&D group, so it made perfect sense to me.

But, to explain: girls do not typicaly play D&D. When I speek with other DM's they tend to be surprised that I not only DM but I have two girls that play in my group as well.

On of my female players also plays with a group at her collage and they're surprised she plays too.

The sterotypical D&D player is male, a nerd, geek or something of that nature, and supposedly without a female s/o.

Many guys refuse to belief a woman can role play as well as a guy. 'Course they're stupidheads cause we females rock!

the group cats and I play in I'm the only girl (except the host's wife...she plays sometimes) but like...the group (minus cats and I) think playing out of gender characters is, quote them, gay. It makes me sad.

Group I played in Japan with, I was the only female for the longest time. They tried bringing in another girl one of the nights I was work but she was irritating as all hell apparently.

The group I started here in CA after I got out of the AF has been a lot of fun. People will suddenly start talking of some spiffy combat or role play scene that I ran with this "that was soo awsome!" voice.
Makes me sooo proud.

Off to the movies now and he still hasn't choosen one.

At the time the series ended, they'd reached manga 39 which had just released. So no storyline to follow.
Sooo many loose ends.

You see I find this interesting because in my laid back non involved way I figured this was like batman begins and just a completely new unrelated movie to the past ones. Which always made me wonder why returns? Tells me the comercials need work.
