Aethelred
"But my dear, the king does indeed want to meet you. It will be his prerogative to have you, "first rights" so to speak, as it was done two hundred years ago. But we are much more civilized these days. Only The Prize is subject to the old ways."
Aethelred continued to stroke Gwen's pert nipples as he went on.
"As the winner of the Prize Tourney two years ago, it was my obligation to obtain this year's Prize. But if it's in any way reassuring to you, it was my brother who chose you while visiting the provinces last year."
His finger traced the lines of her collar bones and circled the now upright and crinkled teats. Tracing down between her mounds following the hollows around her belly, down to her navel and along the tops of her hipbones to the edge of the dress still about Gwen's middle. All the while Aethelred continued his explanation as if he were merely instructing one of his squires on the history of the joust.
"It's my duty to prepare you. You'll be a willing Prize, happy to serve.... and to service, whomever should win. If you're lucky, it may even be me. Then you'd be able to join Elsbeth in her duties. "
Gwen's eyes widened at that. For it implied Elsbeth had been in the Duke's service for over two years. And that implied there was no escape.
"Come now. Time for your lessons to begin." Aethelred threw the covers off revealing himself and Gwen shut her eyes tightly. But did she peek through her lashes? Aethelred couldn't be sure. He hoisted her from the bed and threw her over a shoulder. He could feel her hair along his backside and tickling his thighs as he carried her from his bedchambers into a dimly lit passageway and down a stone stairway that spiraled down... it must have seemed a long, long, way down.
