she'll remain queen till she dies, then the title will pass to charles. he has been brought up all his life as heir to the throne.
since he was born, his name was firmly in place as heir to the throne.Since he was 9, apparently.
Personally, I'd much rather she name William. Because William is young and also because I remember how Charles strung Diana along and then married her all whilst he cheated with that filthy whore Camilla. Quite the scandal. And then divorce.
As a member of the commonwealth I'd never be able to look upon the royal family with the same respect.

Fuck, I detest that ugly bitch.
RIP Diana!

Why tho? Like serious question. What did she do that was so awful?

does he want the job? probably not. would he abdicate? dunno. as for popularity, harry is most likely more 'popular' with the general public than william, and it's not a matter of the queen suddenly renaming who is heir.
maybe their days are dated. i'm no royalist, that's a given. but looking at america as how the alternative could play out? umm....
as it happens, it's parliament that can have the actual say on succession via parliamentary supremacy but to deviate from the fixed line of succession has all kinds of problems attached to it, least of all what would happen if william died unexpectedly leaving an infant heir to the throne? messy.I'm pretty sure he was 9 when he was given the title or Prince of Wales and heir apparent. Could be wrong.
I'm not an idiot, I know HM doesn't just pick a new King or Queen for fucks sake, BUT she would definitely have a say. ETA As would the efficient.
Didn't realize that Camilla is technically "Princess of Wales", but chooses to go by Duchess of Cornwall out of respect for Charles' first wife (Dodi's fucktoy)
How much did Camilla respect Diana when she was fucking her husband all those years I wonder.
People hated Charles and Camilla. That's why she didn't get the title.
She has the title, wtf are you on about?
The Duchess of Cornwall, not The Princess of Wales.
Like Rob just said. Wtf are you on about?
I almost didn't catch that one.<--- I did. Divorce that is. That is how the Church of England started.
