Serana Elkwood

Serana had never been this close to Altair's walls. She walked through the forest touching the stone walls. Swiftly and quietly, Near Altair's gates Serana nelt down behind a old large tree, crouching she watched the two soldiers you would need a paper to get in for soldiers and Altair citizens, for Rebel spies the safety was needed. Serana whispered "Come aid me" She stood and heard branches break in the distance of the woods. A brown large bear slowly lumbered towards her. Kneeling down she kissed the bears head. And whispered her command in its ear. The bear nodded in understanding. In an instant the bear walked to to the now mortified and readied gaurds, before launching itself unto the left soldier . Serana touched the back of the other guards neck, sneaking around while the distraction occurred. The soldier turned ashen and fell to its knees. Dead. Serana gasped and fell to her knees. A wave of nausea washed over Serana. Serana stood weakly and kissed the bear on the top of its head, whispering "Thank you" The bear walked back into the forest. Turning around Serana pushed open the Altair gates. Walking in smelling the smell of cooking and stone. Serana swiftly walked towards the castle. "Just a peak" She whispered. As she walked up the castle steps. And two soldiers looked down at her. Serana smiled. The soldiers wore confused expressions as exchanged glances between each other. During this spilt second , Serana touched her little gold dragon on her shoulder. It leaped to the guard on the right and sank its teeth into its neck. As the other gaurd tried to pry it off. The dragon ripped a huge chunk of the struggling guards neck out. Serana rushed forward and covered the left gaurds screaming mouth as the dragon lept to the other gaurd and did the same. Serana kicked the fallen bodies. And entered the rich castle. Serana mouth fell agape. It was huge the Quartz walls were fine and the red carpet was pure silk. Looking quickly both ways Serana charged up a flight of stairs and walked down a long hallway full of rich portrait and heard a voice at the end of the hallway. Serana swiftly walked towards the door and peaked into a room were she heard a male voice "Get your filthy self to the stables, I want the horses ready for tomorrow." Peaking in she saw a man facing a window and a naked elven woman. The man held cold blue eyes. Gasping a little to loudly she backed from the door. "Valdmir?!" Her thoughts screamed in her head. She had heard of the man among the soldiers that she had previously killed, She heard of cruel things of him, standing on the other side of the door thinking of what she should do, suddenly the door slammed and she realized she had pulled the door sharply shut. She gasped and ran for the stairs. And right into a pair of four gaurds, one pulled out its sword and held the tip of the cold silver under her chin. Serana and the soldier held cold stares.

Vladmir Cortgrake: Wing two of the royal palace. Gardriz.

Vladmir had noticed a change in the atmosphere. Still backing the door, his seventh sense picked up an image by behind the door, he turned gently as the door banged shut. "You saw her, didn't you?" he asked kuruni in his composed manner. She nodded affirmatively making him chuckle at her intelligence.
Lyden couldn't help but let out a slight laugh as he saw four of his guards surrounding the intruder, one even pointing a sword at her.
"You wanted to see me, yes?" his voice boomed behind her.

Serana almost sulkingly turned around, making a more innocent voice Serana replied "No I uh sorry I got lost in this castle you see I'll just return to my outside now..." hoping he would fall for the stupidity act. And praying to God he didn't notice her ears, showing only one which was more clearly see able as her long dark side braid was on her left side, her ears the only showing she was a wood elf and perhaps the last.

"Do you take me for a fool Serana Elkwood? Do you think i won't recognise the rebel that destroyed my vampire's blood bank?" Vladmir asked with teeth gritted. His quick anger already reaching its peak. Vladmir smiled on seeing the expression on her face, yes he had guessed right. The description his fangs gave about the wood elf was straight on the mark, even her pointy ear was as described. Wanting to spite his still naked slut, Vladmir added. "Kuruni dear, i think you now have a replacement."
As a rebel the punishment was certain death. A slow painful death as stated in the law. Vladmir knew he could withdraw her sentence at least until he had had his share of her lithe body. Killing her was not an option now, there are still informations he wanted sucked from her.
"Take her to my personal dungeon." he commanded then turned for his room "And make sure the king is not aware of this until i have questioned her."
Vladmir didn't want to face the hot tempered king without reliable information to give to him.

Serana flinched at his tone and her discovery. "And I sure as hell don't regret it" the little dragon growled and Serana shot it a comforting look. "Your everything that's wrong with this Empire you beast" Serana spit all the venom she could, yet fearing what would happen to her. At hearing his words to the naked woman she knew. " No..." But Serana feared she would still be to weak to struggle.

In a flash Vladmir was upon her, he held the little dragon and gripped Serana's neck. "Mind your tongue child. I am not a patient man, i'm sure you know that." the small creature struggled in his hands, bitting and cawing at his gauntelated fingers. "Take her away. I'll keep this creature as a present to the witch Xeste." he said releasing his hold on her neck. "Watch her." he said to Kuruni. "She's a tough one."
Vladmir turned again for his quaters as the guards chained the rebel.

Serana, the prisoner

"No!" Serana looked at the dragon. And got into its head. She knew a secret nobody knew. She told the dragon her thoughts as she was dragged away. Serana silently cried in her cell. Nobody would save her. Nobody knew her. She didn't know what he would do to her. She could only hope for death. She was most certainly useful in combat. But she would rather die then help them. And she prayed she would not be used once again. She sighed "I haven't even joined the Rebels" she said quietly. After hours she finally know what to do. Serana knelt down and whispered "Aid me... Giants" with these words she stood.large booms could now be heard and she only guessed it was the Giants themselves. She heared them smash buildings from her cell, wreaking havoc on the town. She heard soldiers yelling and running. With their clicking armor. She smiled, and waited.

Ellerzit Radgriek: Rebel camp, outskirt of Falkreath

"That doesn't mean only an elf can read it. Their are some scholars in Gardriz that know the elven tongue." Terrowin replied, trying to save face.
"Yes, you'll suggest we travel to the centre, towards the capital just to find one of those expensive ignorant bookholders? Need i remind you that the scroll is written in homac and homac is a very very old elven tongue?" the hobbit shot back still keeping his voice leveled.
Terrowin picked up his axe that he was leaning on and made towards the hobbit.
"Calm yourself Terrowin." Rosgar called out to the dwarf blocking the path between him and the hobbit. "Their is rumor of the witch's servant frequenting the town's inn to collect ingredients from the inn-keeper. We should check it out."
"I and Drien shall go." Ellerzit decided. Rosgar protested that he was their leader and should never leave the camp, least he be captured and all hope be gone.
"For the first time Rosgar, i feel completely certain of this decision. You shall stay back and guide them till i return."

Serana Elkwood.

Panic was the distraction. She only hoped nobody would wisk her away before the Giants could break into the castle. She was very valuable to the Empire, which is why she needed to get away fast. She heard civilians scream, she smiled. Nobody would think to get her. They would be off on horses in a second. She played with the green magic in her hand. Only a matter of time till she caused some real destruction now. Worry-free she layed back and laughed to the ceiling.

Katharine

Katharine ran out of the barracks. Seeing two giants, she swore under her breath. She turned around and opens the door to the barracks, and yelled. "Mages! Frontline center! Archers! I need you in the back! Melee! Attack when the giant falls! Move! The Mages and archers moved into position. And began fire, the giant swung its hand into the group wiping out half a dozen. The giant fell on its knees as they continued to fire, when it dropped the melee punctured its neck, until it was clean off. The next battle was long and hard and at least 80 men and women were lost fighting. After it was over they had a long toast to those that were lost......... Not wanting to disturb the king, Katharine, angrily went into the castle, and up the stairs. Vladimir was known for causing unknown unwanted things here. As in Giants. And Rebel sluts, etc. She went into the diner and made some wine, "Ugh I need a drink" feeling like a disappointment to her men. And with her drink she walked up to Valdimir's quarters. Pounding on his door, Katharine spoke in a rather loud voice,"We need to talk..NOW" her and Valdimir were well known to each other and were friends. Although she followed his orders. Although them getting in debates and arguments was never rare. "I lost 83 men to day, you know anything about that?"

Vladmir who was enjoying a hot cup of tea was disturbed again by another loud noise. The first had been two giants coming for the royal palace, ofcourse there was no need to involve his fangs in it. That's what the palace guards were meant for.
The second now was not that easy to deal with, in as much as he hated the source of the noise, he loved her in as much quantity. Making his feelings for her a somewhat balanced one.
Vladmir nodded to his pet, the high witch Xeste. She understanding her master mentally opened the door.
"If you lost 83 men then you should be heading to the barracks for another 83." he replied Katherine not looking up from the scroll on the table. He sipped his tea and peered down hard. Ignoring her prescense as repercursion for banging at his door.

"Come on Valdimir, you know as well as I know that, Giants don't decide to attack towns, as well as here, unless something or someone called them here, or brought them here. She smirked. I don't believe it was one of your dogs" she said looking at Xeste. "Now before all of the Giants decided to drop in. I found four dead guards. Two had their throats ripped out, another was mauled by beast, and the last was simply ashen and dead. Care to tell me what the hell is going on?"

"Xeste, assist Kuruni in the stables and prepare the fangs ready for tommorrow's journey." Vladmir said dismissing the witch. She bowed humbly then left the room. As the door closed Vladmir finally looked up.
"Tea?" he asked raising his cup to her. "It'll calm you down."

Katharine shrugged, "sure why not". Katarine leaned against the wall, "Now I'm no mage, but I know that magic is very very rare, and only caused by a certain type of Mage. Who'd you find this time?" She asked coolly.

Vladmir sighed heavily. He poured himself another cup then walked to the open window. He stared at the street now in commotion. As usual he always gazed at the empire from his window when he wanted to clear his head.
"Serana. The wood elf. The same rebel that destroyed your bloodbank at the east gate." he replied her, then took a sip from his cup.

"That cunt?! I'll cut her little throat" Katharine snapped. Pulling out her jagged sword and brushing her finger on the shiny metal side. She looked at Valdimir. "What do you plan to do with her? If your not going to do anything I'd be glad to feed off her wood elf blood before cutting her limb from limb" She smiled at the thought.

Vladmir smiled slyly. He was expecting nothing less from a skilled vampire like Katherine. "If you are hungry, go compell one of the servants. She's off limit to your hunger. I still have use of her...and i want her alive till she has done what i require of her." Vladmir snapped back still backing her. He wanted to keep the vampire in the dark as much as possible, he knew katherine will persuade her way into joining him for the quest if she learns about it. And she was the greatest distraction ever created for him.

" Fair enough" she grimaced, remembering his rule of not persuading things any further. Following his command. "Which reminds me..." Katarine smirked slyly, knowing how much she disturbed his quiet life. "Who do you plan on bringing on this 'quest'? She smirked

Serana, The prisoner.

Serana stared at the wall. Her magic would not work through these walls. Hours seemed to pass. When she felt something small crawl into her lap. She looked down it was the gold dragon. Serana gasped. "How did you get out? She whispered. The dragon nodded towards an open door. Serana understood. "Listen, you need to leave. I need you to get out of the castle, at least one of the windows should be broken. If not break one. When your outside grow to your full mass. Then fly away as far and fast as you can. Then find Rebels or the Rebel camp, near the outskirts of Falkreth. Tell them what has become of me. I don't know what going to happen to me, but if I die..., I'm sorry" She hugged the small thing and pushed the dragon through the small bars. The dragon nodded and ran away. Minutes later, She heard heavy strong wing flaps. The signal he made it out. The wingfaps quickly faded away into the distance. She hoped nobody saw. She then silently cried.

Vladmir Cortgrake

"I don't remember mentioning a quest to you Katherine." Vladmir spun quickly and gripped her arm tightly so that they hurt. Next time you try getting into my head, i assure you. I'll strip you of more than just your rank and feed you to the dogs in the street." he hissed.
Seeing the pain registering on her face, Vladmir released his grip and backed away.
"My two pets and three fangs will do for now. What i'm looking for is of utmost importance to the king and discretion is a must. A crowd is not required. Just a small reliable band." Vladmir then turned to her. Don't think you are coming with me Katherine. I'd rather have a clear head than be distracted by your body and words."

Katherine bit back her pain as he gripped her arm tightly, yet could not hide it. There was definitely a large part of Valdimir that was scary. When she saw his threat, she thought it was best to leave. Now. "Okay" was all she could manage before she left the room, a little shakily. She pushed it to far. But regained her composure and headed down for the barracks.

Serana, the prisoner

Serana felt as if she was losing her sanity. The cell has that affect on you. Serana needed the forest. It was her strength. If she did not touch life soon, she would lose her sanity. Literally. She felt weak and light. And relieved. And sad. And hungry, but would not eat the meat the guard provided for her. No, she would not go down like this. Serana had began to bang her head against the stone wall. Blood started to seep, yet she continued. And then gone unconscious. Meanwhile...... The giant dragon, Alduin soared through the sky, away from the castle. Away from his companion. As he soared with great speed he slowed when he saw a couple what looked like Rebel, men. Alduin landed in front of the couple armed, surprised looking men. They looked like the ones that lead the Rebels. "Fear not mortals, I do not wish to harm you. For we are on the same side. My companion has been taken by the Empire. And she is perhaps what you seek, an Elf. Wood elf. And has sent me to aid you until she calls upon me again." Alduin spoke in a low growl, like always with dragons. "The Empire has the scroll, that is all I wish to say." he spoke.

Shango, Battlegrounds

4cef7244-a0c0-45cc-b468-c32eae22116e_zpsasrj6cu8.jpg~original

It didn't take long for the foreigner to arrive at the scene of the ensuing skirmish just outside the entrance of the palace. He arrived unscathed to the heart of the conflict, a massive zanbatou slung along the arching bridge of his broad clothing draped shoulders. At first sight, it was hard to think anyone could wield a sword like that one-handed and scale the height of the palace, Shango made such a feat look effortless.

Dropping down like an irregular raindrop, there was little sound to his contact with the ground, but once he stood, the impact was evident by the sizable impression in the ground.

There were at least 80 or so bodies scattered about and two very large ones. He was disappointed to find the battle had drawn to an end before he could accomplish anything significant. Making his effort in vain. And so he sheathed his sword and proceeded into the palace anyway to get a feel for the state of the empire's standing, and to investigate the cause of the disruption if possible.

Ellerzit Radgriek

"A Dragon?" Ellerzit unconsciously asked. His eyes roamed the gold-like impenetrable skin.
"Not just a dragon General, a beast of the earth, from the scales, i'll say she has just completed her circle." Drien the hobbit stated. Fortunately they have not made it into town, and though the beast was massive, the forest still hid it from view.
"you said you wish to aid us. I need you to find someone. A former friend of mine, her name is Ingrid Brokenborn, she's an imperial Knight. You can find her in the royal palace. I'll be grateful if you can bring her here at dawn." Last time he saw Ingrid she was still in the palace battling between her choices. Before he was thrown into the dungeon he had approached the young knight and appealed to her to join his cause. To refuse the king's horrible orders, but Ingrid had rejected his offer. Reporting him instead to Ganduer, making him to be thrown into the hell below the palace. Last he heard of her was that she was being used roughly by the king. He now only hoped

That she had come to a clear head.
"We should rescue his companion, from what i have studied in the scrolls, a wood elf can not survive in an unnatural environment. She'll die if not removed from that filthy cell." the wise hobbit suggested.
Ellerzit only sighed. Drien was ignorant of the empire's army. Unaware of the underworld beasts under the palace, unaware of the coven of Xith where every type of magic is brewed. Unaware of the ghosts that guards the center wing of the king. The fangs and the imperial soldiers were just frontline pawns. Used to decieve and trap invading forces.
"Even an earth dragon of this magnitude accompanied with every man we have back there, we won't be able to rescue a rebel from the palace." he then turned to the dragon.
"I'll save your master or mistress when the time is right. For now, all i ask is that you find me Ingrid Brokenborn." Ellerzit believed there was a way to rescuing the wood elf. He'll just have to find someone who knew a teleportation spell. Like it was simple
