The Search For Mecca OOC

As long as the Sith are alive, there shall be Jedi to counter them. Therefore, the Jedi shall never be extinct either. The Balance of the Force is dependant upon that principle. Neither side can exist without the other.

*grabs a bowl of popcorn and watches the Force users verbally duke it out*

It would seem that my opponent has admitted defeat by not replying. What a shame. I was hoping for a bit more of a challenge.

No, Qyron, no can of whoop ass has been opened. It is merely a philosophical debate upon the nature of the Force.

naw had to go AFK my son woke up lol, had to change diapers and put him back down >.>

YES the sith are breeding muahahahah!!! >.>

anyway, where was i... *clears throat*

i shall kill you jedi!!!! no wait, thats not it Oh yea lol

the strong are forged by teh blood of the weak, you jedi shackle yourselves with rules, you hide your passions, you bury your anger,

One of the greater teachers of old, Yuthura Ban once gave great examples. Examples of the tuk'ata and sarkath that hunt prey, feeding on weaker creatures. Passionsis what keeps all creatures - from the most rudimentary to the most evolved sentient being, alive...

Ack...that's what I get for forgetting I had this window open. Hello Jedi! I'm doing just peachy keen this fine morning.

The original version of the Jedi Code states that there is emotion, yet there is also peace. The Jedi are allowed their emotions as long as they do not allow their emotions to control them. The Jedi are at peace with themselves, they do not fear death nor do they seek power. They seek only the truth.

The Sith fear death, for in death they lose what power they had acquired for themselves. The Sith are not at peace with themselves, they are in constant turmoil, constantly destroying one another in a vain attempt to solidfy their positions.

Chatting and watching some Mystery Science Theater 3000. Yourself, aside from arguing with your opposite?

ah but see the Jedi code has changed, for it now states there is no emotion, which is why Vader was born, he had been forced to bury his emotions for so long or risk punishment that it ate him alive, that his emotions drove him to the dark side, the jedi feared their emotions, the sith embrace them

Contemplating going to bed soon. It's almost 3 am here and I must be up before 9. And I've been up since 9 am, so yeah, I'm kinda tired.

Hey, did you notice that you have more than 100 posts, Mary? You can now have an AV.

There is no Light or Dark. There is only the Force. Putting factions to such an entity is silly. *skitters off to find cover*

Well, for the health of argument, I will state that the strong without the weak become weak themselves. And that weak become strong when facing their foes. Death is just the natural end to everyone.

Aah, the Code may have changed, but the original is now even more valid. To ignore one's emotion can be disasterous, but to allow one's emotion to control them as the Sith do can have just as devasting result as burying one's emotion.

Therefore, I follow a blend of both the original code and the more commonly accepted code.

There is emotion, yet it is peaceful.
There is ignorance, yet there is wisdom.
There is passion, yet it is calm.
There is chaos, yet it is in harmony.
There is death, yet it is joining the Force.
The Force is one.

That is quite right, Mary. The Dark Side and the Light Side are constructs created to explain the way the Force is used.

nice poem, bet it helps the Jedi sleep at night, and yet even as contrite, and self rightous as they act they could not fell one of their own, once again Vader comes into Issues, oh Obi wan did a number on him no doubts, but he lived, and there was none alive who choose to fight him or survivied the fight, in the end it was his own son that killed him

It true that Luke that killed Vader, but it was to bring about the return of Anakin Skywalker; it was the Emperor's Force Lightning that subsequently killed Anakin. Had Darth Sidious not continued his Force Lightning attack as Anakin Skywalker picked him up, Anakin would have lived to see the reestablishment of the Jedi Order.

And it was the will of the Force that Vader not be killed by Obi-wan Kenobi. It is the only explaination as to why Vader managed to survive the battle.

Sorry about that. My head was in a fog yesterday, so I didn't want to even attempt writing a post lest I produce some craptastic writing.
