Hello there!

So, for the last few months, since mid-November, I’ve been working on a story in German titled The Silent Girl. At some point, when words were hard to come by, I started doodling her on my reMarkable e-ink tablet, which I normally use for work-related things.

I hadn’t done any drawing in a couple of years, but I found it quite relaxing. So I started coloring her on copy paper with some cheap markers I got from Lidl, then reworking the drawings on my computer.

Eventually, I realized those markers had their limits, so I started investing, or maybe just sinking, my money into actual Copic markers.

Thanks for reading, I guess. I just wanted to show off what I’ve been up to besides writing. Drawing and visualizing her really helped me work through my problems, besides @StillStunned ’s motivational thread, of course. ;)
 
Anywhere close to a self-portrait? Very nice images! Do they continue to tantalize as they progress?

No, not really, she doesn’t look anything like me.

There are a few more revealing pieces on my DeviantArt profile, though. I’m hoping to eventually do one or two drawings for each chapter.
 
It's no criticism of you at all. I just can't see a place for non-erotic imagery on an (allegedly) erotica-centered website. But then the management have forced that situation. Why is this forum even still in existence?

If you think nudity is required for imagery to be erotic, you've probably watched too much porn. I keep seeing this thread come up and thinking "she's beautiful", but being too afraid to comment. Your response here spurred me to get over that and say something, though, so thank you for that.

I find these drawings VERY erotic. I don't know if my interpretation matches @millamomud's intention as an artist, but when I look at the girl in these drawings, I see a subtle, shy, humble sexuality that makes me unable to decide whether I want to play with her, or BE her, experiencing what it's like to play with myself AS her. Or have someone else play with me as her. (Then again, my own sexuality is often confused between wanting to be with someone and wishing I could experience their perspective. It's probably why I like reading and writing erotica so much.)

I hope @millamomud releases the story in English as well, because I want to learn more about this girl, who she is, and what being her would be like.

No, I don't. But being something of a hard-headed realist, I do think something more than 'beautiful' is de rigueur. A sunset can be beautiful - without being at all erotic, I hope you will agree... and my point is: so can a girl.

Fair enough. I still wouldn't call these drawings "non-erotic", but YMMV.

Tend to agree. Anyone finding these pictures "erotic" had better not venture into the outside world for fear of being in a state of constant arousal at the sight of pretty well anything.

Very lovely character, adorable and very real, and I too laugh at Terry Pratchett's stories!
 
You convey your artwork very well, I just think folks here may be expecting more. Nice work though, stick at it.
