What song best describes the course your life has taken? I just heard this one the other day and it fits how my life has gone up until this point perfectly:

"Everything is Different Now" by Don Henley:

I hate to tell you this, but I’m very, very happy
And I know that’s not what you’d expect from me at all
I’m not the kind to smile and bow out gracefully
I always wanted to take it to the wall

But I found somebody with a heart as big as Texas
I found an angel with the golden wings
She saw me down here in the dark somehow
And everything is different now

Yeah, I miss the old crowd sometimes
And the wild, wild nights of running
You know, a starving soul can’t live like that for long
You go around in circles that just keep getting smaller
You wake up one morning and half your life is gone
I got so tired of that; I got so lonely
I dropped down and I called out to heaven
"Send me someone to love."
And heaven shot back, "You get the love that you allow."
And everything is different now

Oh, and it’s sweet to know
The wisdom that living brings
Since I got a telegram from the god of simple things

She said, "I don’t care what you do for a living."
She said, "I don’t care what kind of car you drive."
"All I want to know right now is what do you believe in
And what it means to you to be alive
Will you stand here in this fire with me?
Are you ready for another life?" So I bit that bullet and I took that vow
And everything is different now
Everything is different now

I was in the process of ruining my life quite nicely about 4 years ago and then I met a friend who didn't care about my past and didn't care about my job or lack of, someone who taught me there was a future and I wasn't stuck in that pattern. I don't know where I'd be without him.

your lyrics Ambro

Ridin' in a bus down the boulevard,
And the place was pretty packed.
Couldn't find a seat, so I had to stand,
With the perverts in the back.
It was smellin' like a locker room.
There was junk all over the floor.
We're already packed in like sardines,
But we're stoppin' to pick up more.
Look out!

Another one rides the bus-ah.
Another one rides the bus-ah.
And another comes on,
And another comes on.
Another one rides the bus-ah.
Hey!
He's gonna sit by you.
Another one rides the bus.

There's a suitcase pokin' me in the ribs.
There's an elbow in my ear.
There's a smelly old bum standin' next to me.
Hasn't showered in a year.
Well, I think I'm missin' a contact lens.
I think my wallet's gone.
And I think this bus is stoppin' again,
To let a couple more freaks get on.
Look out!

Another one rides the bus-ah.
Another one rides the bus-ah.
And another comes on,
And another comes on.
Another one rides the bus-ah.
Hey!
He's gonna sit by you.
Another one rides the bus.

Another one rides the bus.
Another one rides the bus--ow!
Another one rides the bus--hey, hey!
Another one rides the bus--hey-y-y-y!

The window doesn't open, and the fan is broke,
And my face is turnin' blue.
I haven't been in a crowd like this
Since I went to see The Who.
Well, I should'a got off a couple miles ago,
But I couldn't get to the door.
There isn't any room for me to breathe.
Now we're gonna pick up more, yeah!

Another one rides the bus-ah.
Another one rides the bus-ah.
And another comes on,
And another comes on.
Another one rides the bus-ah.
Hey!
He's gonna sit by you.
Another one rides the bus.

"leader of the band" by whitney houstin? or by dan foggleburge<sp?>

"run for the roses" is good

I would have to say "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough" with Patty Smythe.

Sums up all my relationships :(
